Aye, but he knocked back a LOT of them. Some James Bond fanatic figured out that the 14 books covered 123 days, he drank on 75 of those days, abstaining by choice for only 12 (he was imprisoned for 36 of them). Apparently in From Russia With Love he drank 50 units in a single day, which is the equivalent of about a litre of vodka. Bond was technically a chronic alcoholic.

TimmyTechTV Haha, that was part of the theory I forgot to mention. If he was an alcoholic his hands would shake with delirium tremens after a night of heavy drinking, so he might have drank weak Martini's during the day just to steady his aim when firing a gun.
