I presume the reduced delay on live sports events isnt in 1.3?

That hasn’t been switched on in 1.3 yet, it is available on Ch 921 and 922 as low latency test channels. It will likely be switched on for the start of the football season.

Hello how can i use the sky glass without a sky account .After factory reset ,No apps showing on tv

HI. I apologize. I have a Sky Glass bought used but I can't activate it. I am desperate. not having an account... to which I can associate it. and therefore it has no app. Thank you.

For the apps you will have to contact Sky and have some kind of subscription with them you will also need to hope the person you got it from has paid off anything owed on the tv or any subscriptions, Sky are very helpful and I’m sure they will help you out

Unfortunately Sky says that since this TV is not associated with me they cannot activate it. I'm thinking of changing S.O. but I don't see anything to switch to android TV. or similar.

@@antoniorusso4168 all the smart options are supplied by sky, with out the sky sub it is just a normal freeview tv the only thing you can do is make it a smart tv by plugging a fire stick etc into one of the HDMI ports but I really think you should be having a word with the person you bought it from as of the tv had been paid off and any outstanding sub by the other person they are normally happy to help you out

Features in OS 1.3 are I switched on over the coming months by Sky including Low Latency Sport as well as gaming features.

Tbh I couldn’t care less about the Gaming side, but the more Sky Stream/Glass updates the better🤙

Auto Game Mode caused stuttering and freezing problems with my Steam Deck, so I had to disable it. Hopefully they resolve it with an update soon.

The update is there to address those issues with Xbox but mainly PlayStation not sure if they would have had the steam deck in mind as I would say it would use a small less powerful graphics engine I think they will only update issues that people have with Xbox or PlayStation

I have just ask one of my colleagues who knows all on steam decks he told me it domes matter what tv or projector you put it on it’s an issue on delay the steam deck side and a very well know issue as it’s really meant to be handled

@@ReviewBoxUK hopefully either Valve or Sky can take a look into it, although as you say there’s probably a very small user base of using a docked Deck with a Sky Glass TV!

I was watching Platoon on one of the streaming platforms and it cut off a few times ! Does paying extra for UHD ( six euro a month) apply to all channels or just what they select like the sports. Anyway excellent video

No it doesn’t apply to every channel/content. You’ll see things with “UHD” that are 4K

Most gamers (not pc gamers) use a tv. That’s the comfort of console gaming and living room gaming.

I know plenty of console owners who use monitors not tvs that’s the only way to harness the power of the next gen consoles true pro gamers would never use tv’s

I am sure that my SkyQ is the best experience. My own TV set, recording, rather than bookmarking my 'recordings'. I am not reliant on my internet connection to watch anything. My TV is between my speakers, for an excellent sound from my Naim/Kudos system 😀
