This game holds a very dear place in my heart. Used to play itu with my uncle when I was in High school. We made two different saves and competed to see who can finish it first. He passed away before he managed to finish the game and a few months later, I beat the game on my own. Hope they Remake this masterpiece..

Same dude, I know majority of the grandia fans somehow seem to hate this game but I was completely blown away by the game when I first played it. I would even argue this combat system and exploration is far more surprior than FFX but alas this game's name was lost in history due to its own fanbase and bad writing on the second half. I missed this game so much. 😢

I have to admit, during the PS2 era, Grandia III indeed exceeded my role-playing expectations. This game was both epic and fun in all of its elements, including the combat system. The story was brilliant and lured players into a genuine fantasy adventure. The adventure I experienced with this one, personally lasts a lifetime. From the game intro to the very ending, this game delivers what true JRPG represented at one point in time in the prime days of PlayStation. It's a shame that developers lost this style of RPG creation and heartfelt enthusiasm. Games like Grandia III will hold dear in the hearts of true fans of such a great RPG series. I have to admit that old school JRPG developers (90s to early 2000s) always knew how to make a great Love Story adventure game in those days. Thanks for this one and the great memories of getting home from work in the early evening on a Friday, then having the rest of the night and the whole weekend to enjoy uninterrupted real adventure in the comfort of my bedroom! ✌

I got my hands on this in 2007, I was 12 years old. A friend of mine/neighbor let me borrow it and I got surprisingly invested in it and the characters. Listening to this intro is one heckuva throw back. Great game.

I just used a hyperkin, a mclassic and a mcable gaming edition off my ps2. Upscaled to 1440p signal running at 120 to 144 hz. No pixeled edges on the characters hairs and nothing. Glad I got that hyperkin reality missed playing ps2 and now the games look pretty dame good with no bugs from possible emulators

I still have yet to play this game. Currently playing Grandia 2. I beat the first one a long time ago. I want to beat them in order. I remember listening to this song a long time ago and loving it. This song alone motivates me more to get through Grandia 2 so I can pick up Grandia 3 in the PS store for $10.

Honestly the one major complaint I had was we didn't get to really do stuff with the plane. Really wish we had some action flight gameplay and not just cinematics of them flying the plane awesomely. One of the earliest cutscenes even shows planes doing a canyon race. We can actually find the canyon on the world map but can't really do anything at it.
