I am 73 years old, and have been modding Skyrim Se for about quite a few years now. I find great pleasure in being able to create a world that is just the way I like it, and in exploring all of the incredible mods that this community and mod authors like you have given us. Skyland AIO has been THE foundation mod for me ever since i discovered it, and makes such a wonderful base to begin with. Thank you for this series! It's great to hear that you will still be creating new mods and trying new directions. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. . . . . and please, keep the mods you now have available for us even if you no longer update them.

Thank you! Its nice to hear that Skyland is a good foundation mod. One rule I had when designing it was that it had to blend well with other mods in case you wanted to overwrite any part and blend with other mods. It makes me happy people do that. And Skyland mods aren't going anywhere, they'll always be there to use.

I remember when I first read "Skyland" on the Nexus, seeing the great quality but, at that time, the series was not complete (talking about the very first versions), so I dropped the idea of using it. Later, when I saw that you were coming back to finish the project, I began to follow you, both here and on Discord. I literally just downloaded this mod yesterday, haven’t even had the chance to try it, looking up videos on it on KZbin, and I find out it’s in retirement… I gotta say it looks amazing as hell. Praying it runs well in VR. Can’t get over the architecture looks. Can’t wait until I finish up modding either so I can play it.

I remember finding Skyland on Nexus like a month after it was posted and it blew my mind. It's one of the only mods that once it was in my load order, it never left. Crazy to think it's been 7 years. I look forward to using any future mods you put out for TES6, Bethesda's graphics team's got some real competition.

Thank you so much for all the years of hard work and dedication you've put into your mods, and generously sharing them with us. Skyland AIO has been a staple in my load order for a long time now, and I imagine it will continue to be so anytime I come back to Skyrim. I also really appreciate the extensive clutter mod Bits and Bobs. I've been playing the original game since like the day after it released and I never thought I'd see the day there was such a cohesive and comprehensive overall of most (if not all) of the game's architecture, landscape, and clutter textures. All the years prior one had to mix and match quite a bit, but most of it was in vastly different styles. Many things were just ignored either outright or for so long. I sincerely congratulate you in this endeavor, and wish you the best with what you want to do next, mod or otherwise.

Thanks for what you've done. Skyland was one of the first mods I downloaded on Xbox when I first started modding a while back - was recommended on Reddit. Since then I've also used it on PC. In fact, can't recall a playthrough on both platforms where I didn't use your mods. I tried others but always came back!

Honestly, I've only started using the Skyland AIO + Bits and Bobs as a base for my textures recently and they're definitely the best base you can use. I normally overwrite Skyland with the RUSTIC series, as I've been a fan of Gamwich's textures for years. Skyland may be finished, but it'll be interesting to see what you do with your talents next!
