I'm so disappointed I never got to experience this side of skylands. I actually never ended up buying one of the DS s but I think I may buy one now to catch up on all the great games I missed.

My boy (7y) loves his 2dsXL. One day he was playing on a cousin room and saw his skylanders collection, asked cousin what it was and he loved it. So we started collection just recent and it great fun. Gen 1 almost compleet now, secondhand marked is great place to look. Here in the Netherlands we buy 1 for around 2/3euro's each.

No no no, dont buy a DS, common mistake, 3ds and ds are 2 different things, ds is more retro, 3ds has 3d games. Its also AMAZING for homebrew, so i recommend a new 3ds xl with homebrew, or a new 2ds xl with homebrew, or even just a 2ds or a normal 3ds, i just recommend the new 3ds xl for the 3d slider and it's analog stick, and i HEAVILY recommend you homebrew it, as you can download the skylanders games for free and use a save file in which has all the skylanders so you dont need any figures or portal, thats the end of my rant, goodbye

What's even weirder is that normally the first levels have the elemental gates for your skylanders. SSA had Tech, Water, and Magic corresponding to Trig, Gill, and Spyro. SSA 3DS had Fire and Magic in the first level, and was good since you had Ignitor and Dark Spyro to choose for the level. The same deal went with the first level of console giants, but then for the 3ds version here has Magic and Fire. Which meant you couldn't 100% the first level without buying a Fire skylander.

I personally find the 3DS version of Giants less enjoyable than the 3DS version of Spyro's Adventure, even though the 3DS version of Giants was my first own Skylanders game. Apparently Octaneblue and I are only ones who noticed the technical issues that the 3DS version of Giants is suffering from, like constant framerate drops, slow downs and even the game crashes sometimes. I noticed the crashing when I tried to play Dragon's Peak and bring Volcanic Eruptor to the 3DS version of Giants. Luckily the 3DS version of Swap Force is a big improvement.

Oh no don't get me wrong, I did ran into bugs in this game. But they didn't happen during levels so it wasn't a big deal to me. but even with the bugs, I still think Giants on 3DS is a better game than SSA, but you have valid points! Swap Force is still the best, imo!

dug up my old ssa portal from back in the day, and it still had the original batteries in it with a little bit of life left (and not leaking). man all those years those batteries were in the portal from the beginning of skylanders till now

Warnado got his recognition back when they released the swap force lightcore warnado. I loved that figure and I fondly remember going to a GameStop with my dad and him buying me the light core warnado.(I also remember the weird skylanders club thing they had, and the employee there that kept bugging us about the buy 5 get one free deal on skylanders😆) good times

I got a copy of this game used and after some cleaning (there was a ton of battery erosion but I got it good enough) I was able to play it and I have to say, it’s great for a 3DS game

What's weird about the Giants is that they _feel_ slower than they _are_ - outside of special attacks in the home versions of the games, pretty much every Skylander moves at the same speed as one another.

Personally I feel this starter pack I superior to the console versions. Jet-Vac is in my opinion the worst of the new teammates of year 2. Pop Fizz has a funner skill set. Cynder is a good representation of the series 2 figures, she's string has good moves and her Wow Pow is pretty cool.

If you forget your battery, buy IPA and use than to clean with a cotten swabs. Maybe dismantle it abit to reach hard parts but it works great for me 👍

I'm making content on what I enjoy making and what people are requesting. I don't own every Skylander so I wouldn't be able to do that type of video. But I have been doing unboxings!
