Skylanders Swap Abilities VS. Battle Classes

I much prefer the swap abilities, they give fun mini games like the swap zones and also the skylanders of this type don't feel as repetitive as the battle classes.

The swap ability at least gave you a Minigames. The battle classes do nothing except boost your imaginators

I liked the swap zones up until it came to trying to 100% the game. It really makes a difference.

Swap abilities in my opinion seemed overshadowed by the thought of just swapping skylanders themselves. I understand that they were likely introduced to flesh out the gimmick a bit more, but very rarely do I ever think about them while playing Swap force.

personally i would call the quadroped class the Creature Class because its not just dragons that have 4 legs i mean look at hot dog funny bone trailblazer sonic boom etc

Even with the battle classes getting in the way of the creative skylanders designs, imaginators still has one of the best rosters in the series

Honestly id say if you want to 100 percent swap force just get the top blast then the bottoms buckler, rouser, range, charge, zone, bomb, shift and shake then just get a second controller for the gates

imo, the Swap abilities feel a little pointless, like why swap them in the first place (that isn't the dual elemental gates)? also 5:19 Tri-Tip, a dinosaur Flare Wolf, a wolf (clone enough to a dog) also, you can *create* each of those (and Boom Bloom uses a whip, not shuriken, and Cortex used a gun instead of a staff)

Imaginators probably wouldn’t be my least favorite game in the series (that I played) if the roster wasn’t so bland

Both are pretty mid if I'm being real. They limit the attack types the Skylanders can have, but if I have to choose one it would be Swap Abilities for sure. Even though I don't like Swap Force I feel like the Swap abilities don't really feel forced unlike some villans for imaginators with the battle classes.

Well neither are to creative or needed. Battle classes shouldn't really exist. All it does is force you to use different sky chi shrines.

To be fair Giants is my favorite game. But I think giants were a lackluster gimmick.

Battle classes have no intricate design to be fair superchargers has the same problem and I don’t think anyone has complained about that because they all need to drive
