@@doorbean5572 I didnt want to go into how I lost them in the post, but I will give a brief statement to you so you understand why it is a permanent part of my memory. I was in the US Navy and I was a firefighter on an aircraft carrier. My friends and I were in a very big explosion and I lost those 3 friends and 8 others were injured. One of my friends died in my arms. Its easier said than done to try not to think of them daily. What I try to do is live my days to the maximum because they gave up the rest of theirs for me. Thank you for your kind words. I hope this explains mine a bit better. E

This reminds me of my grandfather who served in the military. I remember being so happy and overjoyed when he came home. I was just 6 then, and I didn't understand the pain of the world. I thought everything would be fine now that he was back. But I wrong. He later commuted suicide. Leaving me, and my family heartbroken with only a little letter from him complaining that, "Life is to hard." And, " You won't understand. " But now, I want to be in the Air Force. And I will do everything in my power to live on for him. But still, I wish he would come home.
