Many soldiers have died trying to find meaning and glory, or because they wanted to stop bad people from getting into our country or killing innocents. Tbh most just wanted an adventure, and they got it. We had dual objectives in Afganistan, strengthen the countries so they can defend themselves and eliminate terrorists from the earth while also remembering us as valuable allies and keep us as a business partner by trading resources compared to our adversaries.
