Did you need to get a tune? Like it won’t break something with the higher boost? I have a 25 turbo laying in my room so I’d like to know before I install it.

nope no tune needed, but would recommend one for more power.

Good shit bruh. Which RB25 turbo unit did you use tho? Was it from the 'series' (older) RB25 or the RB25 NEO DET? I've done this before (when I had my RB20) and the NEO's turbo is a lot better since the impeller is made from a lighter material and spools faster. I had the NEO turbo unit with a boost controller set @ 14PSI driven daily without any problems :)

Is your new turbo high flowed? Hope so cause it will help move you into the next level of mods. What other mods you cranking? I used h/f 25 turbo , fmic , hard wired and triggered from ecu z32tt fuel pump bypassing the sender regulator on the strut tower as standard witing cant cope with high amp drawing pumps , gtr injectors , boost hacked safc as a fcd, cam gears and some other small crap... it loved e85 with some rotation of the cas and 17psi. But changed back to stock injectors since i still need an exu upgrade to bennifit the most from the mods. Currently doing an igniter delete for smart coils and been using a plex m300te o2 setup as an emulator to the ecu .. alowing the stock ecu to stay in tune off boost. Any ways goodluck stay safe and im glad your videos are starting to grab my attention.

question honestly, how much louder is that turbo then the stock rb20? spool sounds, flutter sounds, etc?

I’m not him but I have a r32 gtst with a rb25 turbo and it is a ton louder I have videos of my turbo and it is incredibly loud message @32.gtst on Instagram if you want videos of it

I am looking for a 95 gts25t that is mostly stock/ not totally clapped out come January when they become legal. Everyone selling in the us is price gouging way too much. literally 10k more than it costs to import for rb25 cars with manual. Frustrating.

Did you have to do anything with the ecu or do any other upgrades to make it work fine? I've been thinking about putting a rb25 turbo in my gtstas well. Great videos though!

It looks cooler than it is. Delivering with a manual transmission is quite a work out on the left leg and the old r32 is a bit small for all the packages. I recently bought a kia sedona that my brother and I put pedals on the right and the steering wheel is still on the left. I now only use the skyline when the sedona breaks down

boostdd stock injectors and ecu for now. I’ll get it tuned eventually when I can come up with the money.
