Skyline Sessions: The Suffers - "Giver"

Houston "Gulf Coast Soul" band The Suffers is one of the city's best and biggest--the group boasts 10 members. Guitars, horns, keys and percussion form the foundation for singer Kam Franklin's powerhouse voice, a throwback to the great soul divas of the '60s and '70s. The Suffers stopped by Houston Public Media's Geary Studio to record the original songs "Make Some Room" and "Giver."
