I think what I love about this remix is that its got this whole hopeful tone to it. It really feels like it embodies the spirit of sonic in this aspect, confidently striding to a better future because we can choose to make that future better.

You know, I’ve always liked Water Palace’s overall vibes. With the buildings in the background, it comes off as a lot more lively than your typical “sunken ruins” stage. Like, this could totally still be a thriving coastal community in the Sonic world, but it just so happens the residents are semi-aquatic. No big deal ;)
