I think it's a bit rich for Kinnock to comment on Corbyns electability.

Jermy Corbyn........." we....... together". Owen Smih.........." I "..........." me". One candidate has the hallmark of being a divisive careerist, the other the best hope of a "real socialist" Labour party leader for once. Rocket science not required to differentiate between the two.

Looks like Jeremy should beware assassins. Labour has shown it's ugly tory reality.

The Blair Labour Party didn't win power with a moderate centre ground policies. It won with progressive social policies and neo-liberal (ie pro-corporate) economic policies. However, now 8 years after the financial collapse and subsequent consequences have meant that the public are angry and in an anti-establishment mood - hence SNP, UKIP and EU referendum. Only a party projecting anti-establishment anti-neoliberal economic polices has a hope. The Labour membership is creating such a party but the PLP are behind the curve (or are a lost cause) and are resisting.

this definitely did not age well labour ahead in all polls for Westminster voting intentions, and if they unequivocally back a people's vote - it'll be the final nail in the coffin
