Dubai floods: Authorities in the UAE deny cloud seeding caused record rainfall

Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have denied that record rainfall was exacerbated by cloud seeding - a practice used in the region to provoke increased rain.
A storm dumped the largest amount of rainfall the country has seen in more than 75 years.

That rapid, continuous kind of stroboscopic lighting was observed in my country too just before there was a tornado two years ago, damaging several villages. It was the first tornado in our region as far as all of the historical records show. Cloud seeding and sun covering is going on hard over all large cities here for over a decade. The problem across the middle east is that there is not really much in the way of drainage. The 8 years of my time in middle east, the rain water that did dump in the rain season has nowhere to go really. They do have storm drain systems, but the roads have no drains, not like here in uk where we have drain systems on nearly every road and definately every road in a town or city. Honestly, in saudi where i was, any rain at all caused mayhem on roads.
