Reports indicate Albanese may call early election toward the end of August

Sky News host Caleb Bond says there are reports Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is looking to call an early election on Saturday August 31.
“Anthony Albanese is looking to call an early election on Saturday the 31st of August which would be in an effort to avoid a September interest rate rise,” he said.
“The PM has until the last weekend of this month, that is July the 27th or 28 to pull the pin if he is going to do it.”
