@chrisparnham2 ай бұрын
@@mysterymaverick1982 Jeremy was the leader of the Labour Party and it was his manifesto that Labour fought the 2019 election. We lost that election very badly. Virtually all the people that made up the party in 2019 are still with the Labour Party including his then chancellor John McDonnell and most of his shadow cabinet so I'm not sure what you mean by 'no connection'? He wasn't smeared and Keir had no part in his expulsion. The other 11 signatories to the letter which argued against sending help to Ukraine in its defence against the invasion of Russia in a militaristic land grab killing and injuring thousands all withdrew their names and he was urged by Labour MPs especially David Lammy to withdraw his. He wsas not stabbed in the back it was made clear to him what he had to do and he refused. I like Jeremy and I wish he was a Labour MP but there can't be one rule for him and a different one for everyone else. Most traditional labour voters if they voted did vote Labour it's only the low turnout that hasn't given the huge win for Labour an even firmer win. I really don't agree with any of the points your making because they aren't true.

Penny was one of the good ones, so I did feel for her to be honest. But, a great outcome for the UK. Labour were the only viable alternative who have a real manifesto FULL of good and sensible policies. This is exactly what we need in Britain.

Good manifesto ? I don't think so .

Peston gloom-casting over Ashworth's lost seat. ''Keir Starmer's going to have a big problem'. A problem, not a big problem. FFS, the man just won an historical landslide. Of course there are pockets of single-issue voters or religious affiliations and devout Corbynistas. And why is George Osbourne even invited to the party - one of the Chief Architects of Austerity? Why not invite Cameron?

Because it wouldn't make any difference. osbourne - bilderberger, ed balls - bilderberger, cameron - bilderberger.

You're probably right. All meaningless.

By devout corbynistas you mean people who actually know him as opposed to the lies the media and blairites spread for two years to ensure we never experience a proper socialist government?

Peston can't help himself, it's in his nature to carp about progressive politics.

The main reason Muslims support Labour is the numbers are not here yet, but once they are Labour will be toast to the new party that is growing outside of the eyes and ears of Britain.

Sad about Penny, I liked her. She should be the next Cons Leader to turn the party back to one that has honesty and integrity.

Reform winning seats first step. Labour DONT Address the Issues like Immigration, Poverty, Energy, NHS and Crime over the next 5 Years. THEY will suffer the same Defeat as the Tory Party at the next election. Thats when Reform will Take Over. WE need a Referendum on the First Past The Post Rigged Voting System. Less Votes and get 50 Seats is a JOKE.
@marykilbane77383 ай бұрын
Reform is a business, not a political party first of all. Secondly, the Labour victory, if anything tells you that most people in the country recognise that the faults aren’t through immigrants but through the Tory austerity platform that they’ve stood on since 2008. It’s lack of investment into infrastructure and the privatisation of public services that’s caused many of the problems

So pleased to see Grant Shapps lose his seat. Astonished that this simple post is repeatedly censored by ITV.

I'm disappointed for Jonathan Ashworth being voted out so the people of the West Bank and Gaza could finally get political representation at Westminster. What exactly will this "Independent" do for their constituents?

Shapps is not bad comparatively. I am gutted Braverman has won.
