Albanese government ‘on the backfoot’ over cost of living

When supermarkets lock up tooth brushes and hair dye to limit shoplifting, Australia has a cost of living crisis. The Albanese government has no idea how hard it is for average Australians, not to mention those on pensions. High prices on fuel and electricity, and groceries are becoming unaffordable, then what? Australians will start getting sick - nutritional illnesses that we just don't see in Australia. Lack of protein, calcium essential vitamins and minerals. Children will suffer from deficits in nutrition - poor development of bones and teeth, reduced muscle mass and height. Visits to the doctor will be only if we absolutely must because we simply cannot afford their consultation fee. The government has to stop their reckless spending. Buying artworks and propping up other countries doesn't help Australians. Charity begins at home - Australia first!

We don't need relief from the RBA, the RBA has a very specific job which they are doing and Govt spending is forcing the RBAs hand. We need relief from an incompetent Govt that thinks they can buy votes and spend their way out of their mistakes.

The RBA is supposed to be independent. Raising rates is the way to slow inflation. Unemployment is still very low. Rates should be 6-7%.
