Trump gave them an exit date, even though, Trump said that was stupid and signals to our enemies. Trump removed 13,000 US troops to 2,500. So when Biden came in, Biden had two choices, Continue with Trumps bad withdrawal plan or an unpopular surge of troops. Biden choose to stick with the negotiated Trump Taliban plan.
