I would rather stick to my own company than being forced to deny anyone the respect they deserve until they prove to me they are not worthy of that respect as that group of girls showed me that day. My Grandfathers fought in the war so that we all had the right to live our lives with respect, my GrandMother and her two sisters were all that was left of their fathers family the rest never made it out of Germany. My Mom’s Dad ran the blockades to bring food into the UK as well as other supplies had two ships blown up from under his feet, but he kept at right on running the blockades. What I see happening today goes against everything that men and women fought for during WWII.

Yes, he is courageous....now. But let's see what happens when this courage takes him higher. I want to see him run for public office then maintain that courage when votes 🗳 are on the line. Look at all the Senators and Congressman who had courage when they ran for office, then got there and now support Pride, and question what a woman really is. This all sounds good to us because he's 19. What happens when he's 29, or 39? Will his courage maintain?
@js8224 Жыл бұрын
@@carycoller3140 Is it even courageous what's he's doing? He's using the supposed incident as food for fodder. There's plenty of adults around him like Matt Walsh, who also happens to live in Tennessee, claiming that whites are facing discrimination everyday. Now there's people claiming, very subtly, that civil rights has gone too far so this kid should run for office. I'm so tired of Gen X trying to prop up their kids. And you're absolutely right. His ideals will someday meet reality and all that courage and bravery will be lost to him. The kid sounds like he's never faced the opposite side of the fence before. Tennessee is very different from Chicago.

Yeah. Imagine running a course :'The problem of blackness'. See how long before you'd be torn to pieces. I bet the person who created that 'problem of Whiteness' course was themselves a White liberal, probably in their arrogance and righteousness believes they are actually helping black people. We want equality of opportunity and where socio-economic disadvantage is not a limiting factor on those with the intelligence and competence to access higher education where they otherwise might not have a 'fair-crack' and have their potential blossom don't we? Do we really want to be replacing one form of discrimination (abhorrently applied in the past) with another in 2023 and beyond, or will see have to go through the whole civil unrest of a new white civil rights movement to learn our lesson? Sometimes I wonder how homo-sapiens manage to build all the wonderful engineering, beautiful arts and music, show tremendous resilience to rebuild after disasters, war or personal loss and then our so called 'academic elite' do stupid, ill conceived and masterfully illogical things like create a University course called :'The problem of Whiteness.' *face palm*

The pinnacle of whiteness is albinism - happens to every species on earth. While most animals get red eyes in this condition, the humans affected with albinism show a light blue eye-colour and white or very light blonde hair. One of my lectures in a class that is meant to surround LAW began with the lecturer explaining how it's important that all white students should feel guilty for being on this land as white people, and especially for learning in English (yes, this is in Australia). Then, when discussing mandatory inoculation, she said, "if you don't like vaccines, you'll have to suck it up, because it's for the greater good." Without even elaborating on how particularly contentious vaccines, such as the COVID-19 vaccine, are actually 'for the greater good'.

You know the history of Australia, right? How English people killed a lot of the indigenous people who lived there, stole their land, put some in concentration camps and took their children away? Which bit of that history are you not slightly embarrassed about?
@rinalaskaa Жыл бұрын
@@kathydent2116 You know how I personally didn’t do those things though, right? You know that not even my ancestors did that, right? I’m not even English, I’m of Czech descent. She was separating people based purely off of race, which is ridiculous. I can acknowledge that what happened to Indigenous Australians back then was horrible. Yet I should be able to live my life without being blamed for all of it, just because I’m white.
@kathydent2116 Жыл бұрын
@@rinalaskaa You are benefitting from the crimes that were committed in previous generations. White people don't belong in Australia: Australians evolved differently from Europeans for thousands of years. Now, the white invaders have marginalised the true Australians and that's something you have to acknowledge. I'm British. I don't feel PERSONALLY responsible for what British people did in the past. Indeed, I would argue that my ancestors (the poor people) were also oppressed by the wealthy ruling classes in Britain. However, the wealth of my nation (from which I have benefitted in terms of health care, education, transport, electricity, communications, water utilities, etc etc) was built from what I regard as theft and exploitation around the world. If your lecturer was pointing out this kind of fact to you, then that is perfectly reasonable. Being of Czech descent, you perhaps don't know the history of Australia. But what is most important is that you feel guilty about how white people continue to oppress and marginalise the true Australians. That is the responsibility of every white Australian right now. And I expect your law lecturer was trying to point out to you that the legal system of Australia was built BY white people, FOR white people, and coninues to be used to oppress the real Australians.
