Personally I like Allen but it takes both Gary and Allen’s playing to make the first album which is easily their best. Ed king only played guitar on one song on pronounced. Ed really didn’t play bass very well so when the second album came time he was involved a lot more. But Gary and Allen were always bouncing off each other. The best American rock band ever, blew the Stones off the stage at this concert. Weirdest thing about this band is the song That Smell, written about Gary Rossington and he was the last of them to die. I still rue the day they crashed
