11:56 What I love the most about Ms. Kryz is that she makes everything looks so easy and fun. She lives and enjoy every moment. I don't know if it's just me but one of the reasons why I kept watching skypod's vlog is because of her, enjoying all the little things in life. Her aura shows how grateful she is right now.

Like Slater, I am also guilty of that. The overthinker. Before I start something i think about it waaaaay too much. Thinking i need this and that before i start. And in the end I realize, those are just excuses i tell myself because I don't want to fail. Or im afraid to do it wrong. But eventually when I just did it... I realized, that doing it wrong is part of the process. And it's better to start it now and get it wrong than never really starting anything because you just keep thinking about it. Starting now and getting it wrong is already step 1 & step 2. But when you overthink it before you even start, you're still in step 0.

"It's all about the execution. It's all about how you do things, it's not just the idea." Just wanted to relate this to art. People usually criticize art pieces displayed in galleries/ museums and say, "Ay madali lang yan, ako nga kaya ko yan!" or "Alam mo naisip ko narin yan eh, di ko lang ginawa" This kind of criticism and mentality is what degrades the value of the work that was made. It's not just luck, there are also hardships, long hoursss, and serious work dedicated to it before you have the well put together piece that you see today. Who ever reads this, just listen to criticisms that would help you improve and just leave the bitter ones.. we don't need that negativity 💖💯

"Success is a factor of the skill you put in with the luck that you are given"! Very much agree! But more than skill, hardwork siguro. You have to put in the hardwork, so that when luck comes your way, you already have the work to show for it! For creators, gawa lang ng gawa! It only takes one stroke of luck for all this hardwork to be rewarded! One example would be Arch. Oliver Austria! He has been in KZbin for so long...and if you watch his really old videos, he has really very very good content even back then! And it took him just 1 viral video to get all these followers and recognition that he deserved.

there's this saying that I used to have in my Instagram bio, "You don't have to be great to start, you just have to start to be great." this podcast showed me the perks of being born to a Negrosanon mother & a Manileño father. I can understand what they're saying when they speak in Cebuano. watching in 2022, let's grow with skyfam!

Adulthood is very confusing. I am still in the process of grasping everything. Thank you so much both of you for sharing your thoughts with us. It really helps a lot. One day, I will also reach this level of maturity. God bless~

This episode made me realize that it is okay if your progress is too slow or still not reaching your goals. After all, only you can define what success really is. Baby steps are still steps to achieve the goals you set for youself..not the goals or the success that the society is telling us.

I can resonate to Slater so much that everything needs to be planned, be in order or no room for error for me to start but I always end up finding myself stuck at the plan phase. And if there’s one advice that everyone should follow is to “JUST START” , you’d be surprised how starting is way smoother than planning. Love this podcast! Hope there will be more content like this as people tend to contemplate around these self-questions lately.
