I don't know if you have a headset, but you might wanna check out the work in progress VR port of Morrowind. It's a fork of OpenMW and it's already very cool to use. Surprisingly good for smth that's so early in progress. If you do go ahead with it though, make sure to install the Morrowind Optimization patch, and Project Atlas on top of that. You'll be shocked how much those two mods improve performance in cities like Ebonheart/Balmora with no visual decrease without it, and they're lifesavers in the slightly unoptimized VR version (as well as the normal game! Shouldn't play without em!) I got the VR port working so if you have any questions, lemme know. Enjoying your Morrowind coverage, man! (Also there's TES3MP, which is Morrowind Co-op. Literally Morrowind online, all of the basegame quests (not sure on DLC's) work, it's mod compatible, private server support, etc. Also uses openmw. Feel free to ask about that too, because you'll almost definitely wanna see that, if you haven't yet.)

If you wish to try out another very high quality quest/world mod for morrowind, gates of oblivion is really amazing. The mod came out in 2011 something and its last update was in 2015, as such it took a lot of stage designs from newer elder scrolls games such as ESO and Oblivion.

I would unironically love to explore late Third Era Skyrim in a game with responsive combat and actual NPC AI.

You killed a Wormmouth that randomly spawned as your rested, not the one specifically with the quest tied to it; as a general note, you can be interrupted from your rest by a random spawning animal and still get the dark brotherhood attack.

The landmass is too far away from the morrowind mainland for your to scroll the map to it, as other have said they fixed that issue in OpenMW

there's been an update recently, and OpenMW is in a pretty good place... time for a sequel video maybe?

The update doesn't add anything significant though. It's just some bug fixes and some tweaking to work with the latest Tamriel Data release.

id really love a guided playthrough of this mod. there should be a youtube channel dedicated to morrwind quest mods playthroughs. because i cant find any videos on mod playthroughs for morrowind and i KNOW itd be a hit. i just know. if youd be willing to do this, id bring you lots of people who would watch with me. because lets face it, figuring out stuff in morrowind by plain adventuring is TOUGH haha
