Another most memorable and valuable review, mighty Dagoth! My own favorite homes were part of Qaxe's Questorium, sadly no longer available. Generally, however, I have always preferred homes with quests and combat so as to make you feel you have truly earned your place. For that reason, I would highly recommend Volthar Manor and Wulftar Kira's Merged on the Nexus. While dated, these mods give you the joy of earning homes filled with secrets and adventure, if you are willing to fight the enemies necessary to claim them.

Hmm. Nice homes. My personal favourite? SkyrimLazz's Ayleid Citadel. You get your own entire worldspace, complete with shops, smithy and even a choice of TWO homes: A smaller more humble abode or, a straight-up palace.
