Jay has done the best job possible. Previously I have been stuck in modding hell trying to get as close to this as possible but never getting there. Nowadays I just use this collection because it's philosophy is exactly what I think Skyrim could have been had it been made with today's technology but morrowinds mindset. I especially agree with the exclusion of Lotd

Much more thought was put into this modlist than any other modlist I tried. The others just seem to mash mods in willy nilly without any theme. When I first played GTS I wondered why he didn't use covered carriages but then I saw random carriages were literally on the roads and it made sense. I see couriers giving messages to my followers and other NPCs instead of just me. I have gotten so used to no using the compass that honestly right now I don't want ot use it even if I unlock it and clarivoyance is finally usefull and part of my normal gameplay. Best modlist hands down.

Most things in this pack are really good, but if you're thinking about downloading it know that the combat is awful, You have very little control, there is no way to attack and also be able to avoid an attack since you get slowed down so much. All combat is essentially just trading hits back and forth, its even hard to hit because of the crosshair. The compass and sneak detection are locked behind perks you have to get, I got to lvl 30 and I didn't get close to unlocking them. However it is a really good hardcore modpack and after I uninstalled blade and blunt it was actually a really fun modpack. This pack is not for everyone.

I prefer to finally see a combat oriented modpack and not just animation and equipment overhaul but a truly balanced enemy overhaul from level 1 to level 81 so that early game isn't too difficult and late game isn't too easy and also bringing variety to enemies without turning skyrim into a different game. I can see it's a difficult task and why we have not seen a great combat oriented modpack yet. I know there is requiem that delevel the world but that also bring a ton of other unncessary changes to the game that in my opinion is a huge downgrade to vanilla skyrim.
