My headcanon is that Alessia didn't contact Marukh and she didn't give him the Chim-El Adabal, but in truth the "Alessia" who appeared to him was a creation from Molag Bal and the stone in truth was a powerful soul gem that devoured the souls - part of or completely - of those who followed his - Marukh's - teachings. Like, why would Alessia make Marukh or anybody for that matter, write her teachings in blood? Wasn't her true teachings the very Pantheon she appeared to abandon when she "talked" with Marukh? The Middle Dawn could've happened because Akatosh "broke" when he saw the very same people he helped free, trying to destroy a part of him.

I have a theory that Marukh served as a vessel for mans hatred of the elves through a snowballing effect of "monkey see monkey do". Marukh would emulate mans hatred for the elves, then would inspire more hatred through his words, and then emulate that, snowballing until eventually his xenophobia got to as bad as it was. Essentially, Marukh, by witnessing and learning mans hatred, became the vessel of all the hate of man for mer and became venerated as a prophet by emulating that hatred due to the Imgas culture of "monkey see monkey do" like we see nowadays with the imga and High Elves, how they emulate their culture and behaviours, and even xenophobia towards man. I hope any of that makes sense haha

The Marukhati Selective really broke Time just to attack Auriel in his very Aspect of Time, to tear him apart for the sake of their human vision of Akatosh. Lorkhan's scheme in Marukh's dream by coming to him as Allesia shows he had no intention on letting Men and Mer live together in the Heart of Tamriel such as Alessia worked for... leading to the Allesian Order to such oppression that Man and Mer in High Rock and Skyrim had to ally with one another to end it. Laloriaran Dynar and his remaining Ayleid Elves, the Direnni Elves and their Breton Vassals, and the Nordic High King and his people as well. The Battle of Glenumbra Moors did good in sundering the Order from outside Cyrodil. Notice that Auriel had no will among the Mer to continue war with Man, but Lorkhan took the opportunity of a "cosmopolitans" ideal of Allesia to betray the allied Ayleids that once aided the Nedes in Rebellion against their more reprehensible Kin who turned their back on most of their Aedric Ancestors... "All are guilty until proven innocent" is also likely what Shor begat on his Nordic people when they slaughtered all Mer and even some Men in all sorts of manner in Northern Tamriel. Lorkhan truly is a God of Choice. Granted, there is good and evil on both sides of the Dichotomy, and then there's the extremists such as these who take it too far.

Your anti Lorkhan narrative doesn't make sense, because the Nordic followers of Shor fought with the elves against the followers of a monotheistic Akatosh.
@Laff7002 жыл бұрын
Why do you think it was Lorkhan that Marukh saw? What if Marukh was merely insane or lied about the whole vision to advance an anti-mer agenda?
@thalmoragent93442 жыл бұрын
@@badluck5647 Yes, because the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The races aren't the exact copy of the Gods they worship, even if they do often try to follow in their footsteps. The Allesian Order was nuts to not only anyone not a human, but to even certain human groups WITHIN their Empire, so of course Man and Mer on the outside looking in would both agree that they needed to be taken down.
@thalmoragent93442 жыл бұрын
@@Super50ldier His actions to speak to Marukh in such a manner says otherwise. He's a God of Mortals but plenty of Mortals dislike him, like most Elves and even the Redguards. He does hate Elves, otherwise the Marukhati Selective and the Allesian Order wouldn't have gone the route it did with Lorkhan's influence And the concepts of Shezzar and Auriel made Akatosh, it isn't an actual fusion of the 2 put together, cause Shezzar is still in their Pantheon as a seperate God to Akatosh. Akatosh as a Tims God is the only aspect of Auriel he has. He doesn't share anything with Auriel other than the title and Sphere of time

I think I once posted something on an Alduin video about how this dragon break may be the reason why Alduin went from consumer of all to dominator. It seems to have literally ripped the time and dragon aspect from Auri'el and given them to a newly created aspect called Akatosh. It makes some sense in that most of the Auri'el's imagery seems more hawk/eagle inspired and the powers have more to do with the energy/light. Also Alduin and Parthanax specifically say Alduin is first-born of Akatosh not Auri'el. This may mean in previous Kalpas Alduin was an aspect/child of Auri'el who wanted to consume and destroy Lorkhan and his creation, but now in the current Kalpa Alduin has been corrupted and and placed under a god that champions man, and this god being a champion of man and "creator of the world willingly" created other champions to destroy Alduin.

Stephen Wolfram wrote a proof this year stating essentially that time itself is a quantum superposition of multiple states called 'branchial history' which is dependent on external observation. That means that simultaneously all possible realities are occuring within the same finite space, we're just limited by our collective perception to a singular point within that timeline. I imagine that our awn history has had more than a few dragonbreaks lost to time if such is the case. Reality is what we perceive it to be, afterall.
