I 100% on 360 twice and recently on PS4. Love this game so much. My Platinum Photo when taken was when i married Aela. I set up the background with all sorts of jewels. 3 decapitated hags witches heads. Deadric weapons. It was so Romantic. Boom!

Seeing the Dwarves at their height would be really interesting. I remember finding schematics for their airships back in morrowind. I would love to fly in an airship.

I read a post from 8 years ago in which a question was made about someone killing a blood dragon but not being able to absorb the soul. Someone else told them that Bethesda patched the game so that if you've already killed a particular dragon once, the next time you kill it you won't receive its soul. They apparently wanted to cut down on dragon soul farming. Maybe Rob had already killed this dragon before. The guy who made the post claimed he'd never been to that area before though, so it's possible it's just bugged.

Love the fact that somebody asked them to do No Stones Unturned.. The most tedious quest in the game.. Hours spent checking every single location because you just can't remember which stone you've picked up.. And then when you think you're done.. Go grab the flipping crown from a large cave system..

I thought the most tedious quest was the one to pick all 100 Crimson Nirnroots in Blackreach?

@@marhawkman303 Very close second in my opinion.. Blackreach was somewhat interesting to explore.. The irritating part about that quest was the dragon showing up at the dark elf's farm and killing her.. apparently it's a good dragon spawning location.. had to reload an earlier save few times.. But those stones.. revisiting and thoroughly checking every location just in case there was an annoying glitch preventing me from getting a stone..

@@marhawkman303 Not sure, considering that some of the stones are found in dungeons and others in houses and such... I actually managed to get half of them just by doing quests... But like I said, I forgot which ones I picked up... Also, 30 crimson nirnroots are required for the quest, not 100 as in Oblivion... But that didn't stop me picking every single one of them haha

If you kill a dragon associated with an icon on the map, you can only absorb the soul once. So Rob has killed that dragon before.

You can negate the blinding effect of the Boots of Blinding Speed with (I believe) a Dispel spell, because its a detrimental spell effect. Thus employed, it becomes the best item in the game. They just require some maintenance, because they're still low-level leather boots. I also made 1 second Jump spells, allowing me to leap across a 3rd of Vvardenfell at a time, and Feather Fall 0 armour, allowing me to land unharmed(unless I loaded into a new cell at the same time as landing.) Everybody laughed at Tarhiel, but he was onto something. Icarian Flight is real.

2022 n still enjoying this game lol someone in vid mentioned 6 hr streaming n i think that be sick, make a fresh character n every 2 hrs u change human player, rob starts, nathan then comes n continues how ever he wants, then dave plays n so on till u beat the game, not platinum unless u want to on ur play, id def watch that, kicker is the other players cant know anything till there turn, think about it :)

Long time fan, though I only have Xbox 360. But I have the equivalent of 9 Platinums for the following games. Rob, the reason you didn't get the dragon soul was because you'd cleared that location (bone-strewn crest) before. You only get a soul the first time you kill the dragons at their marked locations. It's seems a bit silly to bother re-spawning dragons there, but that's how they coded it.

Isn't it actually the SAME dragon, just resurrected too? IE the corpse of the dragon doesn't get removed from the game data, and instead gets brought back to life.

​@@marhawkman303 I don't think so because you can fight different types of dragons as you level. Unless the game resurrects and then reskins the corpse? But the point is you can't farm dragon souls at the marked sites.

@@blackroseduelist4415 Hunh, not sure then. That one rob ran into is a dragon that is scripted to spawn at a certain location. It's not a random dragon spawn. Does the script choose a new type of dragon each time it activates?

The slowdown time mechanic actually ruins archery in this game. Because it doesn’t limit itself to just the player, it’s the space the arrow flies through as well. So if you perk fully into it, your arrows will only fly like 20 ft.

If you want to Platinum Final Fantasy VII on the PS4 you need to be really selective about who you take on the Gold Saucer date. I'm going to have to play through it again...

It took me about 122 hrs to get my plat in Skyrim over 3 weeks. It was a hard fight but you have to just keep grinding away at it.

yeah there's a difference between a new dragon spawning and an old dragon respawning. this is the dragon Rob killed when raiding that nest the first time.

Not being able to absorb the dragons soul actually isn't a bug. It happens when you've already absorbed the soul of a dragon from the dragon nest, any dragons that spawn there afterwards wont give you their soul. I assume its to stop people from farming souls by waiting by the same dragon nest over and over.

Bloodborne is definitely a difficult platinum 😂 most of the trophies aren’t too bad but the chalice dungeons are time consuming and you do need to be decent at the game to get through them. It is fun to play through them though.

Ive played through Skyrim several times, but I have never been a stealthy archer, because its no fun. Sneaking up right next to someone and killing them is more fun. Running in murdering them with one handed and magic is by far the most fun.

On the whole, I seriously do enjoy the content and videos from these guys. They can be sooo funny and addictive. Yet, every and then, a passive aggressive, snowflake-like comment comes out which reminds me how far apart I am away from them all. 🙁 Am I not internally repressed and naturally defensive enough to be a gamer??!
