I really like this style of videos, please keep up the good work :) If you want to upload more recently I'm always in for a let's play of yours, I don't really think it will be coming again, but I loved watching you playing The Witness. Great game and you have a very sympathetic character it's nice just watching you being you and play some games. Honestly, I wouldn't care which one but I think some relaxing games or just not too stressful games would be great. Thanks again for creating these kinds of videos, they're really edutaining :D

hmm.... The All Maker reminds me of Odin the All Father who gave life to both Humans and everything else in Norse Mythology.... So the Skaal is baseicly Odinists. I mean like they even got a book named "Children of the All Maker" like our worlds book Children of Odin.

The all maker is Shor but it can also be Auri-El who was the twin of Akatosh who is Alduin in ancient Nord belief

I think in the Skaal belief when it says that Alduin is the All- maker and the adversary it's because that's the good and the bad and I'm pretty sure in Alduins prophecy he's supposed to destroy the world and make it a new

All maker may be Lorkhan or Alduin. Lorkhan because he created Mundus, Alduin because he not only eats worlds, but also souls of mortals, and then he transfer this souls to next kalpa. Alduin is both destroyer and creator, thanks to him Nirn exists.

The worship of Alduin as the Allmaker is probably simpler. The Skaal worshiped dragons, and Alduin was the Leader of all the dragons, this in their eyes, he would be the King or dragons, which in many customs would be an Allmaker types of character. Also Alduin is sometimes seen as simply an aspect of Akatosh, who IS the chief deity of the 8 surviving Divines. In which case, being the Allmaker makes even more since.

I doubt both the Adversary and All-Maker are depicted as Alcuin, it's most likely the All-Maker is depicted as either Paarthurnaux, Akatosh, or the Dragonborn.

I think when they talk about Alduin being the same person as the all maker there refering to him being the god of time witch is split into three diffrent gods auriel akatosh and alduin when it is the end of time alduin devours the world and the new kulpa begins with auriel the all maker might be auriel to the skaal im not sure but this would make the most sense to me when they refer to what you said

the reason it said that alduin was both the all maker and the adversary is because alduin is a version of akatosh, much like how in the christian believe system jesus and god are the same deity but in different form, although it's weird that the same deity is fighting itself.

That's a good analogy! I didn't talk about this in this video because I believe it merits a video in itself. The different forms of Akatosh is a complicated subject, and I don't know if I'm ready to tackle trying to explain it in a video yet. Definitely one of the more complicated & fascinating parts of the lore. Also, to add to your analogy, I would add the Holy Spirit to that as well. The Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit are probably the most recognisable real-world parallel to Akatosh. And I saw someone on Reddit mention the idea that Akatosh & its multiple personalities is like a light. Once you cast it onto a dispersive prism, it reveals its color components. Thanks for commenting. It's a fascinating subject. :)

I have, it's really good actually! It looks much better and with barely any performance hit, and it fixes lots of bugs and it rarely, if ever crashes now. And also mods for consoles. Highly recommended!

The Skyrim footage that I recorded for this video is from Skyrim Special Edition. It's basically a slightly prettier version of Skyrim. Nothing revolutionary. I don't know why so many KZbinrs are making videos like "7 THINGS TO DO IN SKYRIM SPECIAL EDITION!!!". Titles like that imply that it's somehow a different game, which is misleading. Don't get me wrong. If you've never played Skyrim before, Special Edition is a great way to dive into it & experience it with modern graphics. Plus, you get all the DLCs which is nice. Just know that you're not actually getting any new features (unless you're on Xbox One/PS4, in which case they added support for mods).

alduin should always destroy the mortal world, that is is his purpose and when he destroys the wold it is rest. repeating itself. How ever is the story that we ourselves play though he breaks this cycle and decides he wants conquer it which is why we have to kill him. "the all-maker, is some distant echo of mighty alduin" it probably means that he was the all maker before he changed .
