Skyrim: Thieves' Guild Cheats

Tired of doing the Thieves' Guild jobs every time you join the guild? Me too! 125 jobs takes way more time than I want to devote to it, so being the big console-cheater that I am, I found a way to speed it along.
Step 1: Go to Delvin Mallory and take a "numbers" job.
Step 2: Open the console (~ key) and type in "setstage tgrfo 50" Hit enter and close the console by hitting the ~ key again.
Step 3: Turn in the quest.
Step 4: Repeat as needed until you get enough "jobs" finished in one town for a special quest, or until the Thieves' Guild has been fully restored.
Note: This is a PC only cheat.

Thanks for this. While I'm good at sneaking and lock picking, I'm not actually good at the thieving aspect outside of the main quests.

Thank you, this will be very helpful in my next rerun with the guild. Do you know if this works for Vex and the other jobs both she and Delvin offer as well, or is it just for Delvin's number jobs?

It should work just fine. It's just a matter of using the setstage command on the right quest. You can find the info here: en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Thieves_Guild_(faction)

so just to clarify in order for the cheat to work if i say pick up a bedlam job from delvin id have to put setstage TGRNT 50 for the cheat to work?

Yup, that should do it. Also I don't recommend setting the stage to a later number, like 200. It won't let you turn in the quest and complete it properly, but just drop it out of your quest log. If it does that I don't know if it counts toward your thieves' guild quest total.

I'm not 100% sure, but since these are just radiant quests it stands to reason that the only prerequisite should be joining the Thieves Guild and finding them in the Ratway.

Any console command you know that can tell us how many quests of those quests have been done?

I didn't answer this because I didn't find the answer until recently, but it's "show TGRMasterTotal"

If you can use the console to show the value of TGRMasterTotal, you can also set the value using "set TGRMasterTotal to 125" (the word "to" is required). I elected to set the value to 124, and did the last quest to be safe, and the safe appeared.

Awesome. That's even better than the cheat in my video. I was afraid I'd break something or that the refurbishing of the guild wouldn't happen if I did that.

This is all very nice for a Pc version of the game but for console users this does not work. Not that i am bashing you or anything or pc versions of the game or those who own a pc. It's a awesome solution and if this would have been possible you damn right i would be using it. I did 80 side jobs so far and it really isn't that troublesome if you spread them over the course of the game like say everytime you visit riften take 2 jobs for on the go and leave them activated. Another solution not quite as fast as this offcourse is to just take jobs in Riften. Got the wrong city reload ask again. I get riften jobs fairly easy from Delvin allthough Vex is often a Bitch in giving them..but sweep jobs should give riften fairly fast. I know most of you like to get all the perks of the thieves guild as soon as possible including that last safe. But doing let's say 20 jobs per visit to Riften in Riften itself still goes plenty fast for me.

No problem. Truth is i kinda hate the randomness on how these jobs are dished out,I know a mod exist for the pc version that allows for a extra sub menu to choose where you want to perform the job but helas no such luck for a Ps4. Still i am up to 88 jobs now. It just requires a bit of patience. Another tip would be to mix the Sweep Job from Vex with the bedlam Job from Delvin as the value from the items you steal for Vex add up to the 500 value of Delvin. It is cleared automatically once you steal the second item at least it does for me. Be warned i use a mod that allowed me all the perks and skills. Anywho keep up the good work.
