Depending on how the quest goes, he can either die or make his way back; he managed to get himself imprisoned by the very person (The Caller) for whom he stole the books. I'd say that's an F-tier betrayal; he could maybe be given a 'D' since he optionally lives.

The Paarthurnax Dilemma is the mod that lets you put Delphine in her place and whip the Blades into shape. When they demand you kill him, you can tell them to STFU and obey the Dragonborn like they’re sworn to. And they do. Paarthurnax is Best Draggo.

First time I've ever disagreed with Lord Dagoth. Mercer's betrayal was S tier. He was the only member of the Thieves Guild who was actually a proper Thief, and he did kill the Dragonborn, who was only saved by plot armor.

Additionally, in hushed whispers and fearful glances over the shoulder on dark alleyways, it is spoken the identity of this entity is only known as "Player", with "console" and "modding" being some of his most powerful traits. No one knows the age of "Player", and when he first appeared. Fewer still knows from where he hails from.

At least on the Empires end they are bidding their time to gather more strength against the Thalmar. Stormcloaks hearts in the right place, but they are outnumbered, outgunned, and have serious flaws in their attitudes.. especially racism and economic principles.

I let Mero survive 'cause sometimes the best revenge is to let the target live with all their failures - Mero couldn't save his son or emperor, his wife(I think according to backstory), and couldn't even 100% wipe out the Brotherhood, and ultimately failed the Empire because of all of that. So yeah. . .he has to live with his failures for the rest of life. . .the rest of the n'wah mongrel dog swits involved on the Empire side. . .them I killed off. The n'wah Dragonborn betrayed me.

And Astrid thinking the father of a guy she had assassinated for information would really agree to spare her group was stupid. Ulfric's betrayal was one of the biggest in the story, although I have no idea how he could call himself a Nord after using the equivalent of a rocket launcher in a 1v1 sword duel

15:16 Technically speaking, I can make some cases for two farmtool betrayals - J'Datharr and Shavari. A thalmor assassin and a thalmor spy. J'Datharr is the khajit sent to kill Malborn in windhelm (If he survived), who stays around the caravan near windhelm stables. If asked about him to the leader of the caravan, he even comments how the ones like him are the reason Khajit get a bad name. Doesn't really betray the dragonborn, but can be considered a traitor for the Khajit. Shavari is the thalmor spy sent to the ratways when we are trying to find Esbern. Can be considered a traitor for the same reasons as above. Needless to say, both are F-tier. F for forgettable, and farmtools.

dont see why thats reason to betray the one dragon thats been opposing alduin since the dawn era. Especially considering those lazy n'wahs also expect the dragonborn (their lord and master) to establish a base for them, recruit new members, AND to train them to be dragonslayers, so the dragonborn can (apparently) serve delphine and esburns goals.. And lets be honest...delphine is so obsessive of the thalmor, its damn near a certainty that she will piss away your hard work, by plunging the blades into another conflict with the thalmor within a few years.. As such...it is foolish to raise them up so that they can place limits on a being they reportedly are loyal to. And is practically a living god. Reman cyrodil didnt bend to their will, and we shouldnt either. They bent the knee for reman, but they attempt to dominate US? No...They will serve or they will die. The hand that raised them up, shall cast them down.
