This looks dope! I do have the big dream of hoping we’ll get a version that allows simulated “flying” (like a super hero) or at least the ability for the device to hold you up during a jump from a high distance to add an even deeper level of immersion. I get motion sickness from playing VR without being able to actually move with the game, but I love playing games like Skyrim. So I definitely want to invest in something like this. But because of how sensitive I am to motion sickness, I’m looking for a device that offers me the most immersive movement experience possible. Honestly torn between this and the Kat Walk C2 Plus. Though I do love that this appears to have more of a supportive harness that goes over the chest instead of just around the waist like the Kat Walk does!
@VirtuixOmni7 ай бұрын
Certainly! Our 360-degree treadmill usually alleviates the motion sickness that some individuals experience with VR, although it still differs from person to person. Compared to others, the Omni One features a larger base and an increased range of motion due to its arm-like structure. It is also much simpler to assemble and includes its own headset and store, making it essentially a plug-and-play device. If you have any questions, let us know, or join our Discord where users are actively participating and can provide feedback!

Does this actually make you feel like you're walking around or do you feel like you're stuck to something while you're running in place? I ordered the Kat Walk C2 and I wasn't impressed. 4 out of 10 to be completely honest. It was expensive, pretty noisy, took a long ass time to be delivered, a complete pain in the ass to set up, and the shoes were so noisy that I just ran in place on the damn thing which worked better for some reason. I bring the Krap Walk c2 up because that and this look pretty much the same and if I were to buy this, it'd turn out the same.

There are differences in the design. I haven't tried the treadmill you mention, but as an example, Omni One is very easy to put together - aside from the cables, it's just three parts (the step, the arm, and the vest) that need to be connected to the base, no tools needed.

The player doesn't seem to be able to run, it should be a vest, which would also vibrate when hit and the mechanical arm should be "pineumatic or hydraulic" so that when he jumps, the jump would be higher and he would only touch the ground when the avatar touched it. on the floor too.

@VirtuixOmni Жыл бұрын
I find that it's like walking on soft ground. It isn't too slippery, and you shouldn't have to push your feet back - just transfer your weight to each foot as you stride, as in real life. While the feeling of walking isn't quite the same, it is close enough to enhance immersion, compared to using a gamepad. It's a fun way to engage your whole body in VR and burn calories without realizing it.
