Super fun first day of this challenge. Lots and lots of theory crafting will probably be involved to solve some of problems. Food? Money? A fairly disastrous start for us in terms of actual progress but I can't get over how fun this was in such a short time. We'll jump into this more as the supercut for 30 Day Iron Man wraps up alongside that final video project.

One other note: I did disable the "injury" debuff from the Ashes death mod we're using. I like the balance of death costing high amounts of gold (and a walk back to death location) as it makes relying on bought magic just a bit harder.

There is a castle place on the road towards falkreath (stay on the path that is closest to the lake) and in the first room of that place is a weak vampire you could use to give you vampirism! I haven't finished watching this stream yet but I hope this information helps ^-^

Fun fact about fur armour, there's FOUR different kinds with different models, two of them being only the 'skirt' model while the other two have a full shirt and shoulderpads too. The shirt variants give more warmth in survival mode too.

You should be able to buy inventory slots with money or points, maybe max out at 4 or 5. Then final goal assemble gauldur amulet. You’ll have to grind in order to unlock inventory slots for each fragment then have to do the final boss fight to reforge the amulet.

I gotta say, Joov is my favorite Bethesda challenge run channel, simply because so many others just summarize what happens day by day. I don't know exactly how to describe Joov's content by comparison, but it's more... thoughtful? He talks about how the challenge changes his play style, how it ties into (or subverts) what he seeks in a Bethesda game, he treats it like a story with themes and morals (obviously with a veneer of silliness, but even so), instead of reading aloud a wikipedia article, you know? I was thinking about what collection quests there are and the stones of B came to mind, but obviously that quest is the epitome of tedious. But what could be fun is a “nuzlocke” while acquiring the dragon priest masks. So you have to obtain the special mask in labyrinthian but every time you kill a dragon priest you cant use that weapon type again. Just a thought, but I’m excited to see where this goes :D

@DietJoov there is a mod that allows you to activate items without picking them up by holding shift. For example you can eat food in the world without having to pick it up first. Might be something to look into.

on xbox there is a mod that gives perk points for questing its called serendipitous. its a collection of mods from nexus. works out the box with missives. Would allow a "courier" playthrough to be very rewarding especially combined with the death mod. sleep then try and deliver the letter if you die then you dont get the point. Throw in World encounters overhaul and trust me the roads will NEVER be safe.

Gave this a try on vanilla skyrim (with survival on ofc), and really one play is to grab the imperial heavy armour in Helgen and put every level up into health. Khajiit can go fists only quite far into the game due to their racial bonus. Bleak Falls was not a huge problem even without a follower.

I feel like with Ordinator, the way i'd do this is utilize Alteration with the "Gain more Armor Rating with no armor equipped" and then use magic and unarmed. I don't know exactly what i'd use the inventory slot for, but it feels pretty wasted on weapons, so having one good chest piece would be at least decent. An interesting challenge, great stream!

There are some really great rings and stuff that could be good, but most behind quests that need you to hold more than one item. Ahzidal's Armor of Retribution, Gloves of the Pugilist, or Predators Grace would all make for solid pieces for that build. Seem the most helpful with such a limitation. Spellbreaker came to mind, but then I remembered you can't get it without carrying multiple things at once.

I don't know if itd be kosher to the challenge, but you should check out the "custom skills - unarmored defense" mod. It's a real good mod that just adds an entirely new skill + tree of perks that only take effect if you're not wearing any light or heavy armor. Would open up your one slot for an enchanted ring or amulet or something, plus itd be thematically appropriate for the challenge

Hey just a tip for some early game gold in these challenges: start at Lorieus Farm, and go up and around Tundra Homestead, making sure to pick up all cabbages from the farms. If you sell all like 80 or something cabbages around Whiterun to Seviro Pelagia you can easily get ~160 gold just for walking around You can normally do the same with potatoes, but cabbages sell at 2:1 when you sell them to Seviro while potatoes are 1:1, and with the one inventory slot cabbages are worth more I always enjoy the challanges Joov, can't wait to see more of this!

Should be possible, if a bit tedious. I once did a 0 carry weight run just to see if it would work, and I did manage to defeat Alduin. I did allow myself to pick stuff up if I immediately use them (like spell books) and mandatory items for specific quest like the claws were allowed. Quest items were allowed, but I couldn't actually use them to fight. It eventually just turned into a somewhat tedious mage build, with no armor and a lot of running around and hiding to get my mana to refill. So definitely doable, but the quest item limit might get annoying.

Just a heads up you can build an entire hearthfire with one inventory. you will need a steward and then pay them to furnish. myrwatch isnt really that op just ignore the loot or "earn" it. id reccommend getting to level 5 or 8 to unlock myrwatch.

Certain companions can pick locks. Giving them lockpicks would definetly qualify as an upgrade in that case. The more you upgrade a companion the more Drama if they die bc you cant haul all that shit you invested into them.

if only one slot then id reccommend heavy armor for the defence. once you pay and train light armor then your punches will give you XP WITH TWO EMPTY HANDS. you could potentially level Resto, destruction, and light armor. although going clothes for warmth then going mage armor would give you better AR

sacrosanct is way to strong. grab Scion by simonMagus. Growl is great though by Enai. you should also grab tougher enemies and dragons and more of em. That mod makes combat over hauls really shine bc then you are forced to consider all the mechanics. Wildcat in my opinion is better than blade and blunt. Makes combat much more engaging with all the different "advantages". I would switch out wintersun for trua.
