A classic of the shareware era. Had this on a disc called "Shareware 2000" or some such back when CDs were still new and they were cramming them full of whatever they could find; hundreds of games were on it and only this and maybe 3 or 4 others were any good. Awesome soundtrack too; Bluemoon has it up for download on their site.

YES my cousin from poland put this on a floppy disc for me a couple years ago back when my family visited. i managed to find the floppy but alas... computers no longer use floppy discs. so i pretty much had no way of remembering the name to the game until i did some hardcore searching online, and i've finally found it i can die happy now

This game was amazing, music, graphics, gameplay, everything!!! before CD burning, i used to use a Cassette adapter, plug it into a Everex laptop, run Skyroads, and blast the soundtrack thru my car speakers!!!! that was in the 90s

This was my favorite game for a loooooooooong time. Partly because it ran well on my 286. Partly because it was one of the few games at that time that sounded awesome through a couple of 12" subs. And partly because it was just an awesome game.

@vondoomindustries actually they did, there is a game called "shuttle 79" on itunes which is really like this game with better graphics and more hunting environments. the game itself called "skyroads" is also available on itunes.

hahah, cool! :D This game was installed on a 386 in a room in my school that was there for students to make some homework or hang out before class started. Two 386's were some day transferred there from a lab cause they were just too old. So some people would play doom or this game on one of these machines heh. Didn't have a soundcard, so PC beeper only o_O
