Yeah but everyone else saw him as a coward unfortunately. What Higgins and Barry did was emphasize that Parker had never been down and he had a granite chin. Parker then had to maintain that expectation, so getting in and slugging it out would have potentially made him the laughing stock of world boxing if Joshua connected flush while trading blows. It was stupid of Higgins and Barry to continually sell that point. It made Parker trigger shy and look like a coward!

Councillor Nappa I never said Chisora was a bum. I actually had him winning the Whyte fight, my point was that if he can't outbox Chisora he will stand no chance of outboxing Parker. Parker has a great amateur pedigree and knows how to not get drawn into a slug fest. Something Whyte is prone to do.

Thats his warrior mindset and thats probably the 1 thing i actually agree with him about. He left nothing in the tank and never had any "if only" questions with regards to his fight with AJ. He had a point about the AJ JP fight. I can respect him going out on his sheild more than JP going a conservative 12 with another 12 in the tank.

I'm a New Zealander and back our boy Joseph all day but I like Dillian Whyte. He is speaking the truth. If Joe doesn't learn to think for himself and speak for himself and put it all on the line when he's in the ring he will not beat Anthony Joshua. Its ok saying he didn't get knocked out by Joshua but what did it gain him?. Surely he didn't step into the ring on his biggest night of his life to only last 12 rounds did he??. Dillian is absolutely right about his fight mentality. Its not hungry in the ring.

Parker really didn't do enough in the Joshua fight, he really has alot to prove. He has the edge and he fights with his brain, and never seems to get ruffled. Where as Whyte to me does not. Alot of street. If you say the sky is blue Whyte is the kind of guy that will argue that it ain't. Which is the kind of attitude which helps him. But only up to a point.
