@flash802 I think the point is that both of them went fully at it toe to toe where as some other bigger fights have been less entertaining, but it's all subjective, I guess. It depends on what you like. Some like seeing technical boxing, some like seeing a good tear up, and others like a bit of both. Given that it could end anytime with one punch these two definitely went in. You have to hand it to Fabio though, some of those insane right hands from Frazer were bombs and he took them.

I was excited for this fight beforehand because of the different places they'd both come from, and the fact it's a British Heayweight Title fight between two unbeaten fighters, I was thinking of Lewis, Mason, Bruno, AJ, Whyte, Fury, Chisora, Williams. I was hoping it would be good. It was more than good. This is one of those fights where I was getting emotional watching it towards the end. The pain, exhaustion and suffering they were going through was bleeding through the screen. If I'd been able to take my eyes off it, I swear I would have seen some of Wardley's blood fly out of the telly and splash into my pint. Gladiatorial.

I think a draw was acceptable, I don’t agree with the point deduction, I think Fabio should have also had a point deduction for backhanding constantly. The knockdown made it a draw but I think Clarke has better chance of progressing to a higher level as his skill set is clearly better. I think the rematch is needed asap and I think Clarke will be better prepared. Howard Foster is a great ref but his scoring as an official is questionable. Can’t question Fabio’s heart but I don’t see him progressing but I see Clarke has the potential to go up a level.

I'd say that this was the best heavyweight domestic fight since Whyte v Chisora. I had it 114-113 in favour of Fabio Wardley by the end. Had Frazer Clarke kept his punches above the belt line, I would have had it 114 even. And I do think that Clarke was smothering his work out of sheer exhaustion. He'd land a two punch combination and then clinch out of fatigue. If he improved his conditioning and shifted maybe half a stone (at 19 st, he could stand to lose it), he would have won. Cleaner and sharper punches from Clarke (unbelievably sharp jab). But better volume and combinations from Wardley.

Great fight, Clarke should feel hard done by with the PTS deduction I didn't see the ref warn him once NVM 3x as the commentary claimed. It was clumsy yeah but not clearly intentional & you should never be deducted PTS for a first offense accidental foul. I've watched it twice now & both times came to the same conclusion 114-112 in favor of Clarke. No problem with the draw but Wardley didn't win. The viewers verdict had a draw & Wardley is clearly the fan favorite so that should tell you something. My scorecard RD1. 10-9 Clarke RD2. 10-9 Clarke, swing round but cleaner work from Clarke. Wardleys early & late onslaught was mostly caught on the gloves & arms of Clarke. RD3. 10-9 Clarke RD4. 10-9 Clarke RD5. 10-8 Wardley RD6. 10-9 Wardley RD7. 9-9 Even, Clarke otherwise won this round but deduction stands & 9-9 rounds ARE a thing under the BBBoC- Some people don't know this. RD8. 10-9 Clarke RD9. 10-9 Clarke RD10. 10-9 Wardley RD11. 10-9 Wardley RD12. 10-9 Clarke Total 114-112 Clarke. 7-4 1 even. 🥊

Clarke won, you have to be a Wardley fan to say otherwise. I hate draws.

@@kimcousins1125 I agree, draw is the minimum I could accept. If it wasn't for the harsh deduction there should be no argument against Clarke winning.

59:10 Clarke will be pissed for the rest of his life if he doesn't win the rematch. It was all there for the taking Fabio was done all Clarke had to do was stay on him and go for the finish

Proper old school tear up! A draw was the right result. Wardley had to give everything he had to hang on to his belts but both men showed terrific heart!

This is how i saw it with no skin in the game... Clarke: R1, 4, 7 (point deducted), 9, 12 Wardley: R2 (close) r5 (10-8), 6, 8, 11 (close) Even: R3, 10 It was one of them super close fights, for sure the knockdown & point deduction were just game changing in the fight

Decent domestic scrap. Neither will ever be world beaters, or win recognised world belt. But, they are warriors.
