I think he was just relieved he wasn’t robbed by the judges after such a dominant performance. The final bell went early to stop AJ being stopped and after the Campbell Hatton decision earlier in the night a lot of people were convinced the fix was in. Glad the judges got it right. AJ shouldn’t have tried to outbox a master boxer. Chisora had much more success against Usyk then AJ. He definitely needs to change his tactics for the rematch and he’s clearly not on Fury’s level.

Agreed. Everyone i know had it as an easy AJ win before the fight, yet not a single one had seen Usyk fight. I told everyone of them that AJ had never fought someone like Usyk and that he was an elite level technical and tactical boxer who is very had to hit. AJ is used to fighters like Pulev, who will stand and trade blows. Usyk is too smart for that and it showed tonight. The best man won and won by a clear margin. I had it 9 - 3 for Usyk. The round AJ won were close, Usyk's were easy.

Man that was one helluva masterclass Usyk put on. A lot of people including me were not giving him much of chance simply based on the fact that he had a size disadvantage but my god did he surprise me and many others. People could make an argument about Ruiz as a fluke win, a one hit wonder but there certainly wasn't any fluke here, Usyk was the better boxer and he showed it. He was so quick, so elusive on the feet, hitting AJ from all angles like Ali making him feel like he was fighting multiple men at once. AJ looked lost in there and had no idea what to do. And then the flurry at the end almost KO'ed Joshua and should've hadn't the fight been stopped few seconds early. All in all one of the best performances I've seen from an underdog in my life and and I feel the rematch will be no different.

AJ's best hope in fight two is a Wilder approach, throw bombs, do weird stuff, get a bit wild. Usyk just can't be touched with normal textbook boxing because he's too good at it

Fury might be a different challenge altogether IMO. I believe Usyk is more skilled pound for pound, but the thing is Fury is huge and uses his size advantage well. Once Usyk solves that puzzle, he might be well headed for another win.

I am an Usyk and Fury fan and predicted an easy win for Usyk against AJ as I remembered how he put on a masterclass against Gassiev when he needed to rise and knew he would do same against AJ. But Fury will beat Usyk, Fury has just as good head movement, boxing ability and a boxing brain as Usyk, only thing Usyk has better is footwork (although Fury’s still got great Footwork), but Fury is just too big and with size advantage and his boxing ability he will pick Usyk apart. Remember Usyk struggles against fellow elite technical boxers and beat Breidis in a very narrow decision, and at heavyweight Fury will win

Well done champ! Almost everyone in that arena had no idea about Usyk's skill and fighting spirit, even the so called boxing pundits, people in boxing, current boxers, most of them just repeated the lines "Joshua is too big and strong". I've thought for a few years Usyk's skill, his speed, agility, and boxing intelligence could cause the big heavyweights problems. But getting closer to the fight, I was getting nervous if it was a close fight, even if Usyk won by a few rounds, politics would still give it to Joshua. Well, Usyk did not give them a chance to rob him, a complete battering! Usyk looked like the best fighter in the world there, he has sent shock waves through the division and the world! He has made history on top of history! And I love Usyk's Cossack look!
