It's true but let me recall this... Tyson always fought at the level of his opponents , nothing fancy or showing more than he needed to...but always got the job done so far... His big potential as a boxer was really understood later on...when the level of his opponents raised...he raised the game... I think that we are talking about a man who really is very apprehensive & deep in thought with a very high boxing I.Q who has been like this all along....but... trash talk has been his strategy to make things easier for him in the ring..... Means that he has a very detailed plan and preparation for a specific fight and is 120% sure to succeed or if he is not....doesn't show up at all....lol He doesn't care to be politically correct or act as a role model...just cared about executing his plan ...and get the job done.. What is different this time is that Usyk is a mind gamer too and trash talk wont work with him...The mind games with him are on another level... To me.... Fury in the ring is much more dangerous when he shows signs of weakness or doubts before the fight....and i'm convinced now he has a brilliant plan behind this... Just my opinion...

oh dear .... stare down was literally like Hunter stalkes his prey.... Usyk will not leave him alone. The way he sizes him up. There is nothing what will stop Usyk to keep coming. Fury took high shoes says a lot as well. Usyk will tire him down, drain him mentally and physically and destroy him. I dont think there will be a rematch. It was significant that Tyson chose the same entrance song that was played for his ringwalk for the Klitschko fight. It suggests he places this fight on the same level; and because he won that fight and became a world champion, maybe he also sees it as a talisman to bring him luck. When his message to his opponent was “God bless him and bring us both back safe to our wives & kids” Oleksandr applauded; still, for his message back to Tyson I was quite surprised that he didn’t exactly return the sentiment. As a man of faith he normally would, but this time it was just “let your fists talk in the ring.” I believe both boxers respect each other as fighters and as men, they share similar beliefs, but it looks as though Oleksandr is already in beast mode and is saving his sentiments for after the fight.

These events aren’t what they used to be! The build up to a fight used to be about the fighters. This has all felt very superficial in comparison.
