It's good Jason Gillespie is the head coach of Pak and also clarifying he is not a selector either
@drumtracksdirect9 сағат бұрын
4:18 basically says "it now seems that I'm here to merely coach the players, rather than lead them as head coach", with what follows being a bit "I've realised I'm here to set things up for the guy after me".

I understand hi frustration but i also know Aaqib Javed has also been frustrated along with many Pak fans. Aaqib is now a selector and it seem he grabbed the curator by the balls and talked some sense into him cos it has worked.

Poor Gillespie is struggling to find the 'right' words to describe his experience without offending anyone. The truth is you can't sugarcoat dogshit into Belgian chocolate! But one can understand his predicament. This is his first international gig, and he desperately wants to hold onto it, despite starting on a low note with a whitewash in a home series against Bangladesh. At this point, he probably knows two things for sure: first, he will never see a more chaotic and unprofessional work environment; and second, this experience, or "learning," cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world from a coaching standpoint. Good Luck Dizzy!

Cricket is different in India and Pakistan when compared to Australia, the fans here very unforgiving, Jason has to understand in Pakistan if the team does not win there is lot of pressure on the board and everybody from the public. He should be thankful of Aqib Javed for the win after a long time. Fans in sub continent are impatient

Even as an Englishman and an England fan. You gotta feel for Gillespie here. He’s a good honest bloke who gets cricket and he walked into a mess of a team that then becomes even more of a mess. He surly knew it was bad but he didn’t sign up for this.

Steve Waugh help Australia win 1999 world miraculously and immediately after the world cup Australian selectors remove steve waugh from captaincy, appoint Ponting as Australian captain. Steve waugh was told by australian selector that he was not good enough to play shorter version of the game.And Ponting and Australian coach couldnt bring Waugh back into the ODI side. Gillespie should stick to coach the team that Aqib Javed selects, Aqib Javed is the chief selector now.

This is the same reason why none of the first choices of PCB agreed to come and coach PCT. There is always too much chaos going on within PCB, things changed with every rising sun. It will be no surprise to anyone if Gillespie chooses to part his ways from PCT soon.

Another significant thing for the downfall of pakistan cricket is Babar, Rizwan and Shaheen gang dirty politics.They don't allow the bench strength to develop. Even selectors and senior cricketers are scared to talk against them. Babar has online fans whose job is to attack whoever speaks against Babar. Saya corporation is another big problem.

As acknowledged by Ramiz Raja, Pakistan deliberately prepared nonsensical flat pitches to flatter the so-called "batting king," Zimababar, ensuring he could amass runs on relatively easier surfaces. This shortsighted approach led to the downfall of Pakistan cricket, culminating in a series of defeats. Such blatant nepotism, evident in Pakistan cricket, may well have escaped Gillespie's notice. Figures like Ramiz Raja, Zimababar, and Afrandi have been instrumental in tarnishing the legacy of Pakistan cricket. if Pakistan want to be taken seriously again, they need to get rid of these selfish individuals.. otherwise there are now better teams than Paksitan who should be included in the test championship to maintain competitive cricket alive.
@kiz556212 сағат бұрын
exactly. Pakistan won easily on pace/spin pitches in the 2021 SA series, yet Ramiz wanted flat pitches for the 2022 Aus and Eng series.
