Wonderful and sometimes misunderstood player and broadcaster. He told it exactly how it was. Everyone needs that pantomime villain. Playing cricket throughout my life, you play against people who are angry or miserable on the pitch. Most the time they were the best ones to have a drink with after! Bob will always be missed . Never a commentator has such audacity to say Whatever criticism comes in his mind . Richie Benaud , Bill Lawry and Tony Greig made my childhood days while Bob painted my youth . Vividly and fondly remember those days of watching SKY SPORTS on Sopcast and Tv U player while I was in Beijing as an exchange student . The Verdict was the best cricket program . I would have preferred Sky doing a program in his memory when he was alive . How fitting tribute that would have been . Bob u always will be missed .

It's hard to believe in all the games Bob Willis played for England he never got 10 wickets in the game, especially when he got eight against the Aussies in that famous game at Headingley in 1981 in the second innings and still didn't get 10 in the match. Bob Willis was one of the greatest bowlers in my personal opinion for England and his bounce was always on the mark and if you didn't duck or Hook he would have you.
