It was a very sad era where Alex Ferguson was bullying everyone. He was also chairman of all FA managers union & he used to take undue advantage of his post.. He bullied Referees, Opposition Managers, Opposition Players, His own Players, Agents & Players in Transfer Market, Football Journalists.. Pandits.. & who not.. The emergence of Chelsea & City through cash-rich owners was not such a bad thing after all.. Otherwise PL would have been boring like German League where Bayern takes all good players & all the trophies.. The moment they see any challenge to their top spot, they snatch their best players.. United under Ferguson was exactly the same.. Current PL situation is far better where we have 6-7 top clubs & no one bullying anyone..

LVG took over a United side that didn't have the players to do what he wanted to do. You need technical midfielders to do that which we had none of back then. He needed at least one more transfer window. Pogba was his signing too.
