Structure, organization, discipline, tactical awareness, set plays. This is going to very challenging for some. Total possession, slower build-up, accurate passing with devastating finishing, timely coordinated movement on/off the ball. Defending crosses and set plays. Progressively developing the confidence to breakdown low blocks.

Struggled with Sarri ball and Tuchel possession. Bayern did not buy Guardiola's ticky tack toe football and struggled with Tuchel. So will Maresca ball be a hybrid of Guardiola/Tuchel/Sarri. Coaching Chelsea is a pretty good option for coaches. The team has good talents although unproven, Plus they have incoming talents next year with Estevao and Kendry Paez. The latter being considered as a generational talent. This team can compete for top four and the league in upcoming 2 3 years maybe even challenge for the title. But this is all theories, So hoping for the best. I am really stoked about how this team plays when Willian and Paez joins the team and how they progress with the team.

I don't think Chelsea ever planned to keep Poch for more than a season. I think Poch knew that too. The extra year was probably just a security thing in case things went really well and both parties really wished to continue. It's probably why it never really felt like he was there.

Then why did they sign Poch in the first place? A year ago they were announcing that after exhaustive research he was the perfect manager for Chelsea. The year before that Potter was the ideal manager. Now once again they appear to have found the another ideal manager for Chelsea. What will Maresca bring to Chelsea? The same old rinse and repaet that they do. He was a journey man midfielder who never played anymore than 50 games for any of his clubs except 1. Minimal years experience as a manager. Definitely will be sacked by Chelsea before the season is finished
