But if you take larger sample size, an individual event like that doesn't impact much.

Edu is the reason why city has talked. This season, Arsenal should be stepping up in their face because of the progress they made for the last 2 season. Im convinced this club dont want to win nothing. For a rival to pip you 2 seaon in a row and you dont get a vengeance to go full blast in the transfer window to boots your attack significantly prove to me that they have no ambition of collecting the top honors. The best defense in the league last seaon set the pave way for you to flick the switch to the attack, you cant just rely on your different to take you over the line. This is arsenal, fluidity and intensity should be all over the pitch. Give city liverpool and others something to think about. I wouldn't be worried as a rival seeing havertz and out of form martinelli in attack.

Possession stats, passing stats, passing accuracy stats, touches etc none of them give you a shred of context. They don’t tell you if it was the right pass, they don’t tell you if the pass put the receiver under was under pressure and it was turned over. Because technically a pass can be completed if it gets from A to B what happens 2 seconds after is part of another equation. Its ridiculous and it’s meant that in the last decade bang average players have stolen a living in football because analysts look at spreadsheets more than actual football.
