It’s tactical from Arteta, they don’t tactically delve into why this is happening enoguh.
@ymohamed92810 күн бұрын
However, Arsenal come up against low block teams quite often and as no.10 you'll suffer more than any player in the team due to the congested of the opponent's players because you won't see most of the ball if you just remain there in front of the opposition's centre backs. Arteta is a very good manager. He probably told Odegaard to move to the right side because with his strong left foot, he's able to create and take shots from outside the 18-yard box. However, Odegaard still needs to improve his finishing, and so are many of our players this season.
@ryanthomas795110 күн бұрын
@ymohamed928 That's the problem though. He's not creating or taking shots, so he's essentially ineffective by moving out wide.
@ymohamed92810 күн бұрын

Liverpool have been more fortunate than other teams with injuries this season. That's not a dig; it's just luck of the draw. If they get a few key injuries, it could affect results, but I think that's the only way they could throw it away. Liverpool has played some good football, but even when they haven't, they've still come away with points. I think that's key to a title win. Arsenal just doesn't look like putting a run together like in previous years, so as much as it pains me to say it, I think Liverpool has it in the bag, but it's not over till it's over, which is the only silver lining for me.

Heres some maths, Liverpool have 17 matches left. If they win 12/13 matches of that, regardless of what the other remaining match results are (lets say there are 4 or 5 losses), Arsenal would need to win EVERY remaining game. Its not difficult to imagine Liverpool winning that amount. Even if We say Liverpool win just ten out of those matches, that would put them 36 points ahead. Arsenal would have to win 12 of their remaining 16 just to be level if Liverpool win just ten more games with no other results.

Arsenal need to survive up until the Newcastle carabao cup game which means keeping the potential 9 point gap. Arsenal will then have a 2 week period of rest if they win their UCL matches to qualify in the top 8. Once they rest and get injured players back they'll be ready for the final stretch of the season. This in my opinion is the most crucial thing for Arsenal to give Liverpool a hard time

I’m a Liverpool fan, and I agree 100% with Manny Petit. I hate the over-confidence thing. The league is only half way, and Arsenal are as good as out of both domestic cups, and so they will have a lot more rest periods, whereas Liverpool are set to be playing every 2-3 days. Also, Arsenal’s injury list is now starting to clear, with important players due back in the next couple of weeks and Saka will be back for the last 2 months of the season. If, and only if, Liverpool can get through their usual jinx period of Feb/March unscathed and with the same lead, will I start feeling we have it.

Interesting watching Carragher explain how Arsenal could get better, because what he explained is why the Arsenal attack was so dangerous against Tottenham and a nightmare for them with Sterling playing. Sterling was brave enough to do exactly what Carragher explained and exploit those spaces creating confusion and panic in the Tottenham defense. Arteta should take note of this intelligence and experience Sterling provided and should have started with the same Arsenal attack against Villa as the one that started against Tottenham. They were magnificent and it was their first time starting together, so they frighteningly, they were only going to get better and click better. That looked like an attack that could have got 5 goals, so I was amazed that Arteta changed it for the Villa game. Villa would never have had the confidence to come at Arsenal so hard to get the two goals back if that attack that started with Tottenham had been putting them through the ringer giving them nightmares in the first half and so Villa would not have got those two goals back in fear of risking losing another goal. Great stuff. Peace and love

@@Royston2001At least we play at the Emirates which is a slight advantage as opponents will not go on the all-out offensive, which will give us a chance to maybe win the majority of those games, as opposed to Liverpool playing away with those tough teams, who'll be desperate for points at the end of the season.
