The Shankly to Paisley connection feels very real. Jurgen did the hardest job of not only turning the team into believers, but the entirety of the club and supporters. You can still see a bit of jurgen's game in Arne slot's liverpool as well. How we counter attack and press in midfield is exactly Jurgen ball. Well it’s essentially the last spurt of Klopp peak team . Of the 3 TAA , VVD , Salah at least one will be gone at the end of the season . After that I think the other two along Alisson will be gone within 2-3 years. Alisson increasing level of injury tells the tale - regardless of what happens with the contracts those players are waning and don’t have long left. Klopp peak team didn’t get all the titles they deserved : Real brutality and ManC financial cheating kinda robbed them . I think one PL title this year would be the perfect transition : to give a good send off to those players while setting up Slott as the new boss who implemented his own style.

Slot is from the Eastern Netherlands, where they tend to express themselves understated. In the east and northeast when they say ' not bad' it means actually quite good and when an old patient says ' I feel not so good, doctor' the doctor should problably send him to a hospital ! The other day there was an interview with a young motor racer, Collin Veijer. He is the first dutchman to compete in the top 3 in motor racing for a long time. An interviewer from ' the west' asked how he felt the season was going. Veijer responded " I can't complain, but I have to keep focu...." The interviewer " can't complain ? But you're doing Fantastic !! " 😅😂 He did not take in account that in the east ' can't complain' implies it goes pretty fine ! In a small country like Netherlands you still can have ' lost in translation' issues ... His understated language probably is one reason why Slot is received so well in England ..

Slot respects Pep a lot. I think we will see that in the setup. The main problem is Haaland, Foden, and their left winger ( Probably Grealish) would target our right side. Especially with Ibou's injury and now that TAA is playing and not Bradley. The most important question- Quansah OR Gomez. Gomez reads the game better, is better on confidence right now. So I would start Gomez. And just to nullify the threat of Foden, and whoever they play on LW, I would keep Macalister pinned back with Gravernberch for more security. So Szboszlai's legs would help to cover the ground in the middle. 60th minute pe Diaz in for Nunez, Jones in for Szobo. If we are winning after 80 minutes- 85th minute Endo in for Macalister. The atmosphere would anyway draw a goal for us in Transition. Counter attack pe ek goal to marenge. Prediction- A cagey 1-0 Liverpool win.

Whilst it's great to have a lead like LFC does. It's only match day 13 and Arne Slot appears to be a Realist, in the fact that he remains humble as the Manager and this reflected in the Players too. JK always wanted to leave the club in a far better place than when he 1st came in and also the fact that he has helped Arne settle in too it has been great to see in the transition. JK was always going to be Big shoes to fill and grow into. I think LFC have found the next generation of JK in Arne and with a lot of similarities in how both Managers like to set out their Teams and follow the FC ethos/ way of playing. Here's hoping that LFC continue the good run against Man City this afternoon. 🤞🤞

You must be joking. Where did you keep Tottenham's coach? He's Australian and speaks much better English.

@diligenceeke3023 technically British as they were a British colony thus why they speak English
