@@OriginalNuttah93Injury prone means you are consistently out for long spells not short spells and also consistently having setbacks. Anyone could be injured a few times for a month over the course of 2 years especially with the insane number of fixtures there are. That just simply isn't what been injury prone is. What is generally speaking is a player that initially sustained a huge long term injury like an ACL or Achilles and upon a year of recovery there are several setbacks both on and off the pitch shortly after returning within the first 6-12 months for a whole myriad of reasons. Most of which are usually to do with natural weight gain and just simply not been match fit when they do actually play again.

No chance Liverpool sign 28 year old Robinson
@PSTV9992 күн бұрын
1. Marmoush is a St and has only played two games in RW in his entire career in Germany. However, he would be the ideal Darwin replacement in the summer. If we’re talking about right wingers, Madueke or Olise would be ideal but they are unrealistic. Semenyo is the best option if Salah were to leave 2. Bastoni is a top quality centre back but he is pretty unproven in a back 4. He has also never been active aerially, which is one of Van Dijks best attributes. Schlotterbeck is the same age as Bastoni, is as good as Bastoni in terms of ball progression and defending, plays in a back 4, and is dominant aerially. He makes more sense imo 3. Robinson is 27 years old, only 3 years younger than Robertson. He does not future proof the LB position and is a short term fix. Kerkez is 6 years younger and far better at this age than Robinson was. He has the potential to become one of the worlds best left backs and should be a priority. 4. You didn’t mention a right back, I’m assuming because you think Bradley is a good enough replacement? I agree with this, however, Vanderson would be an incredible signing to challenge Bradley in this position If the club don’t feel as though Bradley is ready to fill the boots of Trent by himself. Vanderson has far more experience and would take the pressure off of Bradley filling such big shoes. Sugawara would be a good backup to Bradley if the club feels that Bradley can fill the role left by Trent (I think he can). He’d be cheap as Southampton are on the way down and would bring in a large Japanese fan base.

Replacing Trent, VVD and Salah is impossible. These are our 3 most important players. But there are definitely players who could be a good alternative. I'm assuming that the replacement should be roughly the same qualities/type of player: *Trent replacements: Bradley + Vanderson (Monaco), Zanotti (Lugano). - Both are very good offensively and have qualities with the ball. Great potential - but they need time. *VVD replacement: Inacio (Sporting), Schlotterbeck (BVB), Botman (Newcastle), Hincapie (Leverkusen) - All left-footed and okay to very good at building up the game * Salah replacement: Kulusevski (Spurs), Bakayoko (PSV), Mbeumo (Brentford), Kudus (West Ham) - All are good at scoring goals, have good technique and are good assist providers Of course, none of the replacements mentioned are as good as Salah, VVD or Trent. But FSG doesn't spend a lot of money and I think the ideas I mentioned are realistic and all have great potential

Kubo and Conceiçao are two RWs to keep an eye on as young prospects, but its true there arent many left footed right wingers in Europe who jump to mind and agree that Kudus and Mbeumo would be the best Salah replacements. Surprised Hinkape and Hato weren't mentioned in the CB conversation, both of whom could be an option at LB too. Branthwaite as an LCB too, although the noise around him has lessened a bit this season. Van Hecke and Milenkovic are two fantastic CBs as well, although both right footed. Araujo falls into that category too. Agree on Bradley inheriting the RB role.

If Trent leaves, we should sell Diaz, buy Vanderson to provide competition for Bradley and go in for Wirtz to replace Diaz at LW plus replace Trent's elite passing/vision. Firstly, I think we should sell Gomez and buy Bastoni regardless if VVD leaves. I don't think the transfer fee would be the issue for Bastoni, but, rather, convincing the player to leave Inter. Bastoni, similar to Barella, love Inter like Tonali loves Milan and Basque players love their teams. If VVD leaves, we should buy Branthwaithe. That would leave us with the 2 beasts of Konate/Bastoni at age 26 at the start of next season and Branthwaithe(23 next season)/Quansah(22 next season) as their backups. There is no replacing Salah, but hopefully, signing Wirtz will also give us Salah's elite passing. I would agree on signing Mbeumo and to "replace" Salah. Maybe, sell Cheisa if he doesn't work out next season for Kubo too. Also, I would move Darwin on for Isak to replace some of Salah's goals. Not the topic, but this is where my criticism of FSG comes in. I agree that we shouldn't spend just to spend if the players we want aren't available, but when we needed midfielders FSG didn't spend to reinforce. Last summer we should have moved Tsimikas on and bought Robinson. Luckily, this season it hasn't cost us too much, but they should buy Robinson this window. Plus, our supporters forget we have a bloated squad which means we need to sell before buying especially in attack and midfield. Also, our squad has 14 of the 17 foreign players allowed. Selling Tsimikas would free up a slot and Robinson is a solid, reliable player with the added bonus of being a home-grown player. Caoimhin and Varos leaving and Mamardashvili coming in means another foreign slot taken leaving only 2 left. Obviously, I don't think any of this would happen, but it would be my ideal transfers in and out for each player if they were to leave. My ideal scenario is all 3 stay, we sell Gomez, Tsimikas, Diaz and Nunez, then buy Bastoni, Robinson, Wirtz and Isak to replace each - respectively.

Frimpong isnt a good fit for Slots system, this would be a waste of a crazy good player. They should replace the role of Robertson with Bradley on the right and replace Trents creative contribution with a new Leftback, that is able to come inside. I would already go for the long term Van Dijk replacement in January because I think it should be Hato. Bastoni wont leave Inter and Quansah isnt good enough. Hato can play as a leftback for the rest of the season, this I would try signing him this month already, and in the next season you can build him up as Van Dijks successor at center back. For Salah I would consider Ben Doak but otherwise Bakayoko is my choice, because he is unpredictable. He is left footed but can also go down to the touchline and deliver with his right, which is something Slot really appreciates.

However, both players have already been in contact with clubs in Saudi Arabia and are aware of the potential earnings they could secure there. @PSTV9992 күн бұрын
Cunha plays on the left and Rodrygo has said numerous times that he wants to play on the left. Madueke, Olise and Semenyo are the only real options to play out on the right, but I don’t think Madueke or Olise are gettable.

Quansah replacing VVD - to those saying Quans had been really good, yes, he has... next to VVD. He's not ready to lead Ibou or Joe, nor are those two ready to lead Quans, or each other, week in week out, and stay top 3. Someone like Bastoni, or Shlotterbeck: 24+, lots of top team in league, playing champions league, full international, with leadership qualities, is who we need. That, if we are changing to Bradley, is cruicial to maintain the levels at the back. For TAA, Bradley is more than capable, or we could look at players like: Arnau Martinez - more defensively sound than TAA, and a different profile to Bradley, so we have options for each opponent. For Salahs replacement, Kudus is a good option, but not as explosive as Salah, which is what triggers a lot of our counter attacks. Players like: Adeyemi, who is lightning quick, and has raw pitential like Mo did at the same age, could come in and develop in to the replacement - more stable environment (outside looking in) than BVB, but playing for BVB means he is also used to playing under the pressure of being in the top 3 of a league, progressing in UCL, playing in front of 70k fans at home etc. I would anticipate Adeyemi would cost less than Kudus too. Or, if Bradley is going to be a more traditional overlapping RB/RWB, then an option like a Kubo (more inside forward, more creative etc), is a profile option (which Kudus also falls in to). Also, as much as I love his attitude, work rate, fire in the belly approach, time to sell Darwin, to help fund an out and out goal scorer - if we are trying to replace Mo's goals.

We had £110m to spend on caicedo until he chose chelsea then after that we’ve spent £25m on chiesa and endo so there’s still £85m left from that ready to spend in theory. Then factor in all the sales we made in carbalho, van den berg, clark and more that’s over £50m and we make profit as a club in general. I’m not saying the owners will but we have the ability to spend £200m or maybe more this summer on players if we wanted to, we don’t need to think about cheap alternatives we should have the ability to go and get any top player in europe financially and off the back of winning the prem and maybe UCL

Like it or not (I don't) Liverpool are very sensible and cautious with their money. Were in this situation in part due to timing of Klopp's announcement. I trust the people within the club are trying to protect our long term future instead of short term. Hopefully they all stay, but we cant end up like some other clubs with ageing players who';s legs go on huge deals for years, because for the next 3-5 years those deals will stop us signing the players who could be with us the next ten years. We lose them and there will be a drop off, but we will build again. We're not able to give these three everything they want without risking it slowing our progress once Mo and VVD are no longer first team.

@datedwizard989Күн бұрын
Some of the takes from the Liverpool fan are questionable at best. Frimpong isn’t a right back, Quansah to replace van dijk & kudus to replace Salah. We’re talking about the best centre back in the world, the best player in the world & he thinks let’s just promote from within & sign a player with 4 goal contributions so far who’d cost £80-100m. Crazy thing is the United fan talked a lot of sense, the RW market isn’t great & while Mbeumo should be considered if you want to try & replace salah’s goals the best place to do that is at striker. Jota, Diaz, Chiesa (if he stays & is ever fit) for the RW then you sign an elite goal scorer, Isak & Gyokeres are probably the best options & the least likely but there’s Marmoush, Openda, David, Sesko. If all 3 were leaving in 6 months I’d be picking Marmoush (to play at striker), Schlotterbeck or Guehi & Kimmich to replace them, Kimmich more for cover at RB & DM as Conor would be playing.
@Lu149Күн бұрын
Kudus is a great player. I agreed that in the right environment he will thrive. Neither Jota or Diaz are RWs and forget Chiesa his best days are sadly long gone. Isak and Gyokeres will cost £100m+ easily as both are in high demand.
