Last season was without a doubt a very difficult season, but there is definitely a sign of genuine change this transfer window with Ineos. But, even though last season was stressful, it doesn’t change the fact that winning the FA cup last season was probably the best celebration we’ve had since Fergie and even winning the Carabao was reliving and rewarding! This season ahead of Manchester United will determine ETH and Ineos without a doubt! The signs so far are positive!!!

@@Draper99 he hasn’t been good at United i agree but when he joined ajax nobody wanted him.. zero connections to Ajax and many staff members and people in the club didn’t like him but he pushed through a not so good start and showed why he was the best. He made many players better and got us trophies. However I think we both can agree that the Manchester United coaching job is the hardest in football since Alex Ferguson left. Because that man was a wizard doing amazing without to much to spend on new players. United has so many fans and such high expectations and I really think that no other manager would do a better job. Maybe now with Jim Ratcliffe I think we be even better because the Glazers were never good in my opinion only cared about the money not about the club. So about ETH this season he should show something more at least Champions League football and a trophy because becoming 8th is unacceptable that’s not the place for United. The football played at Ajax under him was some of the best stuff I’ve seen. i’m sure Dan Ashworth has made him aware of the footballing demands and if he falls short after the new structure and backing I can see him being sacked and Ruud taking over which wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing.

With all the injuries at United, one looks back and wonders how people like Evra, Vidic, Rio played so many matched week in- week out. That consistency really helped keep the defence at a high level I believe. Look at City or even Liverpool now, the core defence doesn't change too much over the course of a season.
