If you said to any United fan that they could have top 4, win a cup, and have Liverpool finish outside the top 4, and all you've got to do is let them beat you 7-0 they'd take it. Winning a cup and seeing Liverpool in the Europa brought more joy than the beating brought pain. * Not a United fan

Liverpool had issues at other parts of the season (like many major injuries) but at the end of the day, head to head, Liverpool proved they are still miles ahead of United. I don't even know why United fans are creaming themselves about being top 4 anyway when they're inevitably gonna drop out the group stage or round of 16 like they always do because they can't compete with the top teams anymore

The reason he loves Ronaldo is because he saw his dedication to the game, you'd think he'd be someone who Roy couldn't stand with all his posing and arrogance but behind it was an unwavering commitment to getting better, if you do that Roy will let you get on with whatever you want. That's the difference between someone like Pogba and Ronaldo, there's no graft behind all the preening and posing with Pogba.

Honestly, in my life I’ve met several people like Keane that are genuinely quite depressed and so wound tight that a lot of days it’s just painful for them to exist where they’ve then met a partner or friend like Micah that’s really helped them loosen up and smile and hugely benefitted them.

It feels like Roy used to have a little guard up in his early days on TV, he probably felt like he needed to keep his angry man facade up. It's great to see him more comfortable in front of the camera now, partly thanks to Micah. I think the turnaround came during their road trip session for EURO 2020.
