Amuses me how Man U fans actually take Ten Hag's side and speak on it being the players fault when HE handpicked this team haha. Onana(mistake prone GK), Martinez(availability is the best ability but he never is), Varane(they seem to have a terrible relationship body language wise), Casemiro(stated he regrets coming at all), Eriksen(was known for lacking athleticism coming in), Mount(actually like him but unavailability most of the season, Antony(no caption needed), and even insisting on a front 3 of Rashford-Hojoind-Garnacho even though stats are literally showing Hojlind is getting no service bc he is playing forwards at winger instead of the actual wingers that were on the team before he got there(Sancho, Amad, Pellistri)....He humiliated Maguire and karma exposed that was ill-founded bc Maguire literally stabilized the season when healthy and NOW Ten Hag is having to backtrack and admit Maguire is indeed good enough....he CHOSE these players that have underperformed this year haha. Their play is a direct reflection of his decision making.

Ten Hag needs players that suit the system he wants to play. So far, Ten Hag is the one adapting to the players he currently has. In his interview with Gary Neville, Ten Hag says that he wants his players to try their best to play in his system, instead of them having to adjust to a more pragmatic style of football. I believe Ten Hag’s the manager they need right now, as he’s handled all the clubs setbacks very maturely and professionally.

The only manager that could have truly succeeded Ferguson and steadied that sinking ship turned them down ten years ago. Ferguson wanted Klopp to take over after he retired but Klopp saw something in the club that he didn't like. Since that time, every manager that has tried has failed miserably because they didn't have the right personality to control such a massive club and infrastructure. Entitlement has brought nothing but failure to the club. United need to rebuild from the ground up as if they are a small club again. Set expectations at realistic levels and build, build, build. Always looking for quick fixes by spending lots of money and not looking at the roots and culture of the club. That needs fixing first.

You need a squad to succeed and a playing style there's just way too many emotional fans online if you do not have the capacity to take the hits that come with a rebuild no matter how bad then United are sure to do worse in the future with all these changes. We were 2nd with mou and then dropped down to 5th or so 2 n 3rd with ole and then down to 7th now 3rd with ETH and then down to potentially 8th that os progressive decline after pump seasons from a new manager and the dip usually happens when the manager finally decides to implement dominant football and the players fail to cope and the board in turn fail to back the manager and show faith in the process an new coach will come and we'll most likely go down to 11th before we realise there are no shortcuts to success.
