Yes he (Noah Lyles) instead won despite the photo finish of 9.79 seconds to both 1st and 2nd place in the Final of the Men's 100 metres event moments ago there in Paris, France. It was a photo finish result between the Jamaican and the American. Tough call decision made by the judges there in Paris, France. Congratulations to Noah Lyles. Peace ✌️🕊️.

Noah was born in Gainesville and lived there until 8 years old. In 2015, Lyles, and his brother, Josephus, committed to Florida during their senior year. However, Lyles' strong finish at the 2016 Olympic Trials (fourth in the 200m) forced him to reconsider and go pro.

It's the first part of the torso that they use to determine the placement order, not a foot or any other part of the body. That's why most will lean forward if the race is a tight finish.

Yes. Noah is a big occassion guy. He may not be any of the other things the media is billing him up to be, but he can perform when it matters. Kishane didn't look like he had the best start. And just looked stuffy and grimacing at the finish. Man, what it was like to witness the age of Bolt, Powell, Blake, Gay and Gatlin. Just...enormous.
