You have to enter a race with a strong mindset, thinking you're the only one who is going to win gold. If you think for one moment you will lose, then the race is over before it even starts. The only difference between Lyles and literally, every other athlete, is he vocalises his potential. I'm not American, although I admire him for his courage and his skill. But I agree, it would also be nice if he toned it down. A quiet winner is better to watch than a loud loser. 😂

It’s surprising how little commentary there was on Tebogo’s performance in the men's 200m final, especially compared to the extensive coverage and replays given to the men’s 100m for Lyles. The crowd’s reaction was notably subdued after the 200m final, in stark contrast to their enthusiastic support for the USA at the start. It seems like Tebogo's race didn’t receive the same level of attention or excitement. All the same, he was exceptional and his mama would be proud.

Actually Africa is way too rich than most of the world in terms of natural resource, thankful that atleast 1 landmass on earth is not exploited. Entire world is fan of Usain Bolt, and current champions. Even in the regional nationwide races, & marathons here in India, i've often seen its Africans dominating records.

1 athlete out of a billion Africans and suddenly all Africans have superior athletics DNA... stop being racist there are great athletes from all parts of the world, peoples ancestry does not originate from just Africa even though millions of years ago it mightve but it certainly doesnt now. Take the most African person you know do your DNA test and they are probably equal parts European, Asian, African , American , Australian etc
