Hello Heather. Thank you for this videos i just subscribed to your channel! I am from Switzerland and I was always interested and open minded. I did read so much about autism, scoliosis, adhd, and other disabilities or disorders because I want to understand people and instead of stearing at them, I want to be able to understand as much as possible. I did read the book about Helen Keller when I was about 16. Just found your channel, thank you for letting me learn and understand blind deaf people. Orion is a cute little boy and I am curious about the next video :) Have a nice day! Rina

Thank you, Ringasa! I think it is wonderful you're learning more about kids with disabilities. I bet you are finding a lot more in common than there are in differences. I should have some more enlightening videos coming up over the next month.

Thank you! Big job, but to me, it's a human right to have access to what another person is saying. Everyone is worth it.

The deaf×blind thing makes sense to me (with the caveat that I'm hearing and sighted and don't have personal experience). But when Deaf people talk about their lives, it sometimes seems like a lot of their experience is about being more visually oriented than other people, about having a visual language, etc. And people growing up blind do have to learn more through touch, but also hearing, talking with people, having people describe to them what's around, listening to people near them... But of course neither of those situations is the experience of a deafblind child... their experience is another thing entirely. And the multiplication is kind of a neat way to describe that.

Thank you. I appreciate your sharing your thoughts. The more people out there realize this, the better the educational support and access to life opportunities will be for our DeafBlind children and friends.
