I was born in Halifax and left as a toddler. It was 50+ years before I could return, and I fell in love with my forgotten home, all over again. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video.

Beautiful video. The beauty of Nova Scotia is only exceeded by the hospitality and graciousness of the Maritimers who live there. I lived in Nova Scotia just outside of Halifax in the early 70s and got to see much of it. Many years later I returned with my wife and kids for a vacation and took over 1,200 photos during the week. Your comment about your father not having the chance to photograph the province was touching at the beginning. Thanks for sharing this excellent aerial video.

Agreed. One of the nicest groups of people I've met. Thanks for your words and for watching.

+Sky Tech One Aerial Film & Photography . After the commentary in the opening where you see the lighthouse is Peggys Cove. The town with the sail boats and red building is Lunenburg. The city bridge is MacDonald bridge in Halifax. The fortress in the city of Halifax is called Citadel Hill. The town scene with the 3 churches on the turn of the road is Mahone Bay. The double highway scene is in Truro. The highway by the railroad track is Port Hastings. The ferry scene is the Englishtown ferry. The overhead scene of the highway with the cliff and veers off to the mountain range is in White point. The mountain range in the background is Cape North. The mountain with the peak is where my cabin is in front of. Love that place beyond. The rest is the Meat Cove camp ground area for the last 3 scene.I hope this helps. If you ever come back I would be glad to show you where there are some really great spectacles to view.Have a great one
